Question about the Exhausted status effect

Some friends always say that exhaustion can be recovered faster by crouching, but when i try it myself i dont feel y difference.

So if someone could answer me this question I would apreciate it. <3

    It used to, but was changed in a patch a few years ago. Crouching doesn't speed up exhaustion recovery anymore. The only way to do it is to run the perk Vigil.
