Rise in abuse of dc hostage bug
I'm encountering more and more games where someone dcs on hook and when the game is over it never ends and the only way to leave it as killer is to dc. It still shows that survivor as alive and escaped despite being on the hook for over 10 minutes. Is something ever going to be done about it? 1 survivor can completely invalidate the entire game for the killer AND still get points for it.

Sure that it is triggered by DCing? When it happened to me (frozen on the Hook), I did not DC at all, I just got stuck there and had to DC in reaction to it.

Like @Aven_Fallen says are you sure it’s not that they dced because they got stuck?

I don't think this is abuse-able. This bug (or one similar to it) has been happening for quite a while, and its trigger is unknown.

To be fair I'm not sure it was a DC. Someone else Dc/d and I might be reaching to say it was caused by a DC too lol.
I find it odd that there's always that person still in the lobby though. Why would they stay if not to make sure I have to quit? Idk it just seems fishy to me but I hope it's not something people are able to abuse on command.

Someone has to DC in that scenario, yeah. It's like a ######### hatch standoff where the person that gives up loses all their points and can't play for 5 minutes. It is really, really dumb and there needs to be some fail-safe mechanic that automatically kills a survivor if they are on the hook for 3+ minutes.
