I Hate Hag (REPOST)
Hag is the worst killer to go against as survivor and I get sick every time I go against her. Not only can she cancel a chase in a click of a button with her traps which is the ONLY thing survivors can really do in this game if being chased by the killer. Not only can she do that she is jumpscaretopia which is the most annoying thing when playing an online game. Because when playing single player you can just jump, and then pause, and then laugh. But no, on here the thing jump scares you, it turns your ######### camera, and then she pops out and smacks your ass, and then your day is ruined. I just wanna play a fun game with my friends but I can’t have that when I want to rip my eyes out every time I see that cabbage. It wouldn’t even be that hard to delete her, keep the perks and just turn devour into a killer neutral perk like Freddy’s were on the switch for a while
“But she’s fun to play as” you say but I don’t care because I don’t want this game to be fun on one side and garbage on the other. This game should be fun for both sides but it can’t because we have stuff like Hag and Spirit and Pyramid Head and moris and keys and fast gens and Noed and adrenaline and all the stuff that makes the community so angry at this game but keep playing it because there’s nothing else like this game because the idea is cool but the execution is garbage and the devs can’t focus on fixing the game they just have to make more killers that end up being the worst thing on the planet that we just want fixed but BHVR has to go chasing the next butterfly because they don’t want to listen to their fan base

You're playing a horror game and complaining about being scared.... I dont find it fun being looped and genrushed for days, but it's a part of the game.

She is my most despised killer in the game.

I love playing as Hag and against her
Playing as her is difficult since you need to extend your web traps and have timing when your trap goes off, but when you play her you will notice that her traps isnt enough and doesnt guarantee a down, that it takes time to place them and they can get off when you are bussy
Playing survivor (i play solo mostly) against her is scary, yes but he has a limit range to teleport and if you run to obvious spots where she were then you are getting yourself down, if you know you are safe at a loop she cannot loop properly so she will waste time if she tries so she is must place a trap on that loop meanwhile you ran the heck out of you

My main issue with Hag isn't Hag herself but the fact survivors rarely know how to face her.
Many a time I've been on a hook and a rescuer just runs in rather than crouching through and setting off traps or, vice versa, I rescue someone and they don't crouch right away and/or run off triggering the traps I'd just avoided.
One of Puppers recent videos has him expressing a similar sentiment only to immediately trigger a Phantasm Trap and realize the current Killer is Hag.

Well, I hate survivors. So I like to feed them to the entity. With my Hag.
I'm really sorry that you have to deal with jumpscares in a horror game. That just seems really unfair to you.

I agree, she's still by far the single worst killer design they've made. Stomps bad teams but then the moment all 4 survivors know what they're doing she can't win. Doesn't chase or really care about what the survivor does, not has any reason to actually chase survivors when she can just press M2 everywhere and then press Ctrl when a survivor runs near a trap. Then when a survivor gets downed you trap their hook and rinse repeat. Really fun and challenging gameplay...I feel so accomplished when I play Hag, my braincells are definitely not being obliterated 1 by 1 or anything.

She requires forethought and caution.
Playing her you want set up a web of traps but don't go too overboard in a confined area of they can be popped really easily. The strategic set up mid game pay off is what I enjoy most about her. It's also better to hook someone near a trap you placed earlier than it is to trap a hook after the fact. Don't drop ten traps around a single hook that is easily countered.
When going against her, It jst takes a bit more time and care, crouch more, anticipate that high traffic areas where survivors always run are usually trapped so a standrad loop you might run to may need to be played differently. You gotta mix it up a bit.
Charge through her traps around a hook and pop em all while running off, she'll either waste time replacing them or be unable to port to you with any real conseqence. One the traps are gone she is slow. No good hag will chase you where there are no traps but she'll trap loops in chase that you are trying mindgame around so be wary.
Crouch up to gens and hooks and crouch out.
Different killers with varied mechanics keep the game ineteresting.

I like playing as Hag, but I will say that I do agree with you that I don't think her traps should turn your camera. That can be extremely disorienting, especially if you end up triggering a trap that's behind you. I don't think Hag needs that kind of help tbh.

LOL at everyone here saying "just crouch to hooks" when most Hags never really leave a hooked person so even if you dont trigger the trap, she will just walk back to the hooked person, before hooked and unhooked person can leave. She is just bad design and encourages bad gameplay - same as Pig. 90% of Pig mains will just tunnel the person with trap off hook or just camp the boxes.

I love playing vs hag. Nothing brings me as much joy as messing with her traps. I just follow hags around the map all game lol

kidding aside she's statistically one of the least played killers so while you may be seeing her slightly more during her rift cycle i can't imagine it's enough to ruin your day. be happy she'll resume being the underplayed, underappreciated killer she is after level 4 closes. personally i love my girl lisa, but i understand why she can be unfun to go against in the wrong hands.

To all you stupid f-cks that are telling me I’m stupid for not liking jump scares in a horror game; I do love jump scares! They’re my favorite aspect in horror things. But hag’s sucks because the camera turns towards it and forces you to look at it, f-ing you up in the process. Jumpscare Myers is cool because the jump scare happens and you move you camera towards it yourself and in surprise
