Camping Leatherfaces
Does anyone else have the issue that 9/10 Leatherfaces camp? And with camp I mean standing in front of my face from first hook to death lol. When playing with friends I can warn them it's some incel camping with insidious, but when playing with randoms, there's not much you can do to warn them.
I play both killer and survivor and I don't understand why killers , mostly Bubbas, facecamp. It's boring for the killer, you let 1 person just not play the game while the other 3 have a boring game without any interaction.
This makes me hate Leatherface even more lol. I never play him because I just hate the character so so much. Didn't even touch him when he was playable in Mortal Kombat X. :P
Does anyone else have the issue of almost every leatherface they face just playing extremely lame and toxic? Are there Bubba mains here who actually play him because they like the character/kit and not to abuse his facecamp potential?

Yes, I play him because I like the character. I was born in '72 and grew-up on Texas Chainsaw Massacre (along with the launches of Myers, Freddy, and Jason).
I prefer to run around the map with his chainsaw, personally.

That's cool. Do you find it an issue Leatherface players have a reputation to be facecampers? Because obviously not every bubba player is like this but legit 8-9/10 Bubba's I encounter facecamp at the beginning of the game. Could be my bad luck tho lol.

Bubba players do have a reputation for facecamping, yes. There's a long history to it, but it is what it is. I personally find facecamping with any killer boring.

Damn I have some really bad luck then lol. I agree with the camping in end game. But I don't understand the game plan of facecamping the 1st hook to death.

Insidious bubba >> God nurse

Tips are always appreciated! When it's a normal Bubba playing I try to stay as much as possible near windows but it becomes tricky when he has Bamboozle.

Last time I was camped by a leather face it was when the doors were powered, I was in the basement and I was trolling him all game. So I kinda deserved it and didn't care. Even apologized for the trolling. So I don't have an issue because usually I don't go down.

Yeah, that's why I just DC if I hear his Chainsaw. I won't DC verse a Billy. But Bubba I'll jump in a locker and off to Narnia I go!

Same. I dc for all Bubbas now. Devs made him even worse than he used to be.

No, I actually never see that these days. I've had a few hard-patrollers that were basically facecamping (still pretty rare) and I've had teams bumrush unhooks against me and claim that I was camping/tunneling, but no legit, hardcore facecampers.

It's for the memes. Used to be he was the worst killer way back when the game was young, so the only way he got kills was to facecamp.
Now, we're a long way from that, but some Bubbas want to keep the tradition alive. If it happens to you, laugh and join in the song of his people.

Yep, camping leatherfaces is an old known thing.

I had a camping LF last night who was adamant he was taking me to his basement. No matter how far I ran, he kept attempting to take me back. Once he got me there, we spent some quality time staring at each other. I don't mind being camped. I just wish the survivors that decide to hover directly above us would actually go do something productive.

Use Kindred, when using Kindred other players know if you are being camped and you can also knoww if other player is being camped. It's a very useful perk when you are playing solo. It also help you knowing where are the other survivor when someone is hooked and you don't have to waste time running toward the hooked when another survivor is more near the hooked than you and also help you to know where are the killer going when someone is hooked.

Just a tip, don't go for a rescue when he's camping, and do gens.
Boom, life solved.

It's still very common, because effectively his camping has been buffed. Now he can double smack you through BT.
I find it funny, because in the trailer BHVR showed a basement Bubba trying to hold a chainsaw and going in a forced tantrum, as if that showed that finally facecamping Bubba was a thing of the past. Hilarious.
