Overcharge Buff Idea
As it stands, overcharge is an interesting perk that could be great for gen defense builds, but it is not worth a perk slot in its current state.
I believe that a token system would increase its potency; whenever you kick a gen, gain a token (up to 8). A token is spent each time a survivor fails the overcharge skill check thereby maintaining the gen’s regressing state. The skill check must be completed successfully or the perk runs out of tokens to resume repair. The additional regression penalty of 3%|4%|5% stacks on the gen for each token spent from a failed skill check. So failing for a third time on the same gen would be a 25% progress regression. If all tokens are spent the gen loses it’s overcharge state and the stacking regression is reset. The overcharge regression does not stack with huntress lullaby.

Calls it Overdrive in title, then correctly calls it Overcharge, goes back to calling it Overdrive 3 more times.

This still relies on survivor's failing skill checks, which is the main issue.
I think making it apply 5% regression when you kick a gen in addition to it's current effect would make it very strong

This isn't really fair to good survivors bc their teammates could be bad, but they get punished for it.

I'm not OCD, but............

Yeah I keep on calling it overdrive because in my head it’s a catchier name so I just get myself confused, my bad. 😅

If it applied an increased regression rate on the generator, akin to what Ruin is doing, then Overcharge would at least have a reason to exist.

Exactly, that’s my idea. I believed the old ruin should have always been a token system as it was quite op, but I think they over-nerfed it. This would give an interesting and actually useful application to overcharge, effectively being an alternative to pop.
