The Descend Beyond chapter?
Can you buy the Descend Beyond chapter with Auric packs? and does anyone know what day/time is release is?

You can buy both chars each for 500 auric cells or 9000 shards
or you can buy the chapter directly on Steam, which would be cheaper than buying both chars separately with auric cells

You should be able to as it's non-licenced.
BUT I always recommend purchasing straight via the store. Sometimes there are store exclusive attires like GhostFace, which aren't included with in-game purchases.

Additionally, it's much cheaper to buy the dlc than with cells.

I usually buy the DLC from PS store but only if I know that I will be playing that certain killer or survivor. With this chapter I'm not sure if I'll enjoy playing Blight or even if he's going to be bearable on PS4 because of the framerates...
So cheaper or nah, I'm buying probably only Felix. Did the same with Piramidhead, Pig and Spirit.

Idk about much cheaper. 1000 AC is, like, $8.99 USD, and the dlc is $7.99 USD. You save a dollar.

Here it's like £5 for 500 cells, so £10 for both, or like £6-7 for the full dlc. Additionally, in your scenario, you save about $1. 17 chapters, that's $17 saved. Might not seem like much but to some people it's a blessing.

Also, if you buy the full DLC you get an additionaly, albeit very simple alternative colour for the survivors usually. Used to be a full set of pants and shirt but now it's usually just a shirt recolour.

Release should be in about an hour from now. Not officially confirmed though, but those updates are usually at that time

Actually frames on blight are not that bad, just avoid running speed add-ons, they cause massive FPS drops.
