The new secondary effect of compund 33 should be base

For those who have not read the patch notes, they are basically changing all the add-ons from the PTB

Compound 33 in particular got completely changed

  • Any survivors within 16 meters of a slam will suffer from the Hindered status effect for 3 seconds
  • Slamming pallets or breakable walls will destroy them and stun the Blight for 1.5 seconds

Remember demo on release? He needed to run the red moss ultra rare to break pallets. Same is happening now with blight, I dont think it would be broken at all if he could break pallets especially with a cooldown like that.

I think it isn't needed, we need to try the Killer first tbh.

Just pointing it out, I remember that back when demo got released I did not like him as much because his shred felt half baked, until they made it so that shred could break pallets.

I remember that, and I agree.

But about Blight, i'm not really sure yet, i would need to try this buffed version of Blight before calling for buffs tbh.

Honestly... With his new collision detection, extra speed, and all his addon changes I'd wait to see for a bit. But I'm not against this as a buff in a few weeks if he ends up feeling a bit underpowered. If anything I'm expecting him to be oni levels of strength as of current when people get good if not stronger

Hm, maybe they could make it base kit, but increase the time it takes to break it with the slam.

I haven't played Blight yet so I can't really tell, but when watching videos of him it seems that his power is not anti loop, but anti transitioning. He excels at catching survivors moving from one pallet to the next but can have difficulty at certain loops.

If this add-on was base kit, his one weakness is gone and he would be great at catching survivors at loops and between tiles, which might be overbearing in conjunction with his very high movement speed.

Him having an add-on like that is fine but I don't think it fits with his base kit. Of course we have yet to play him.

I'm also not sure this should be base, on demo it makes sense. demo needs to charge his power and if it didn't break pallets it would be too punishing to use if you didn't get the hit.

on the blight his power is not only faster but can be used for traversal and catching up to survivors that might even result in a hit. I dont think this needs to be base kit tbh but we will see how well he does.

demo is great for putting pressure on pallets since you either get hit or use the pallet and he is back on you in a few seconds, if blight is like this why play demo when another killer does the same thing and has a better recovery.
