About how bugs aren't fixed from the PTB

The bloodlust bug still exists, and this leads me even further to believe that the PTB doesn't actually serve to test anything. It only exists for publicity's sake now, as opposed to perhaps when the PTB idea was originally introduced. BHVR can now do the "new killer" publicity stunt twice instead of just once.

If clear bugs aren't getting fixed, then there's no doubt that any sort of complex player feedback is getting through to the developers, and all of the changes therefore must have been only made because of the developers' own feelings on the issues (see McLean's comment on PTB old age).

I would love to be proven incorrect.

    Speaking of which,

they "acknowledge" the window 7 bug on PTB,

but didn't fix it, now every window 7 player can't play the game

yeah, I agree with you on this one.

It all feels like a very big finger to everyone who plays the game and gives feedback anything other than, "This is great! You only need to tweak a few things and then it's perfect!"

Bugs? "We'll get around to it..."

End game issues? "Have a giant death timer so that we don't actually have to change how our game works."

Hillbilly and Nurse too overwhelming and popular at higher ranks? "We're going to make these killers so much more unpopular and not fun that you won't be seeing them enough to complain anymore because we sure didn't fix the real problems that exist--we just made you think about it less (btw, we also added more tedium and bugs for all of you who like problems)!"

I feel like now I can make the EA comparison, but just in the sense of the DbD dev team being arrogant and flippant (Note that this is not directed at individual members of the team, and I feel like I shouldn't have to say that, but someone's going to misinterpret that otherwise).

Much love for creating the game back in 2016, tho <3

oh, forgot to add this one, and since adding all this to the main post isn't probably the best thing, I'm giving it its own comment: The new generator model has parts that stick out that allow for the camera to be placed directly inside the large beam protruding from the top, giving the player a great view of a black bar covering around 1/3 of the screen. Same goes for some bamboo leaves on Yamaoka, and it's been this way since the PTB.

Why put out an unfinished product if not for monetary gains??

Definitely, whoever tells them to keep releasing dlc out without quality control can go ######### themselves for making them release these type of patches to stack on all the other bugs.

I think the devs of the game actually care but whoever is in charge probably doesn't cause these bugs don't make the company look good when it happens every single patch.

general update: the bloodlust bug is still here from the PTB.

I 100% agree with your statement about the developers caring (at least the developers specifically coding certain areas) but the people higher up not caring nearly in the way that they should.
