Fix the broken ass survivors perks already

It's been like 2 years.
2 years of self care, decisive strike, sprint burst and adrenaline crutch.

I just played a round without self care, it felt awesome.
I actually feared the killer as they could insta down me.
I was ######### frightened, then I equipped self care, decisive, sprint burst and good ol adrenaline back.
Then again there was no ######### challenge at all, I wasn't feeling scared, I was feeling superior...
The only situation I really felt helpless (which should be all the time the killer hunts me in my opinion) is when I am the last survivor alive.

These 4 (maybe more) perks are 0% balanced and way too user friendly and overpowered (adrenaline is actually ok, if the "devs" finally fix gen rushing).
But even without perks, a proper team can still gen rush or loop for a really long time at given places.

Whenever I play survivor, I dominate the killer almost every game.
I just dominate them over and over again. It doesn't even feel like fun anymore.

Whenever I loose, it's due to the killer facecamping/tunneling (the real tunneling) me, being a nurse or due to HIGHLY incompetent teammates.
Never because I really got outplayed until my death.

It just bothers me the game is balanced around overpowered perks, poorly placed map structures and exploits.
As killer you are forced to run Ruin, as survivor you are forced to run self care + any exhaustion perk.
If you don't equip those perks and none of your teammates does, your chance to loose is significantly higher (like 80% higher if you are a bad player).

Without perks (mainly as killer) only if the opponent is #########, you are able to win those games then.

Please devs, finally adress these issues.
They suck, I was used to the game being a competitive horror game, but the horror aspect is completely gone, due to overpowered perks, (infinite) loops and gen rushing.
Since I entered red ranks I don't feel the fun I had when first playing dead by daylight.

Just try to balance both sides equally. For once.
I wanna get frightened as survivor and make people frightened as killer, that's the only reason for me I actually began playing this game.

I stopped playing this way, because I can't anymore due to me being rank 1 and everyone being in tryhard mode there.
I am now using crutch perks, crutch strategies and in general don't bring fun to survivors/killers I verse.

I don't want to play that way, I really don't want to.
But everytime I try to play for fun, I get dominated, and people are always sofucking toxic (for no reason), they make me angry as ######### and I return to playing like a bastard. always.

I don't wanna stop playing DbD, just because the balance is screwed since the release.

Just have a great day and try to be less toxic, dear players, maybe we can until the game is fixed, create a enoyable experience for every player.

    DS and SB deserve nerfs, yes. But SC and Adrenaline are fine imo. Adrenaline is very situational.

    Sprint Burst, Adrenaline even Self Care are perfectly fine. If you have an issue with them you are just bad.
    Decisive Strike is getting changed, tho its also fine as it is. encountered plenty of killers who dispite DC, killed the entire team.

    Adrenaline is situational. Don’t lose a chase and you won’t have to worry about Self Care. Sprint Burst and all other exhaustion perks got a nerf. Decisive Strike is going to get a nerf as well. Everybody has some kind of complain against perks just because they actually work. Obviously I’m not going to run Deja Vu or This Is Not Happening when Sprint Burst and Self Care are MUCH better perks. That’s like me complaining to nerf BBQ and Nurse’s Calling because they work and tell you to run Monstrous Shrine and Unrelenting.

    You sound like a cry baby, d strike announced to be fixed in next patch, sprint burst is common but fairly weak as it cannot activate mid chase and doesn't help. If sprint burst is your issue you just might need some more practice as killer, freddy clown or nurse, I sprint burst isn't an issue even when I run class photo to give them a plus 9 secomd head start. Adrenaline isn't bad since it is end game only. Sucks but hey, conditional. Also in the upcoming patch some long loops has been outright removed. You will be fine. Selfcare is getting a nerf in the fact that it's gonna take longer to heal. Also hard to be a veteran and scared, only new killers n such can scare with jump scares, repetition desensitizes people.

    ok so is noed a crutch perk? yes, stop complaining about really good survivor perks when you killers have plenty of perks to counter them. you hate DS use unnerving presence. you hate self care? bring sloppy butcher. you hate adrenaline? bring NOED. you hate sprint burst? just dont swing at them and just follow if you know they have it your just mad because sprint burst is now used before exhaustion add-ons can do anything to stop the perks (AKA the clowns exhaustion bottles). the only real way to win against as a killer is to stop complaining about survivor perks and learn how to work around them like i did when i went from playing only survivor to playing survivor sometimes and killer sometimes.

    Welp, I'm gonna go in depth to why nearly all of your arguments are invalid.
    (Shouldn't have posted in the survivor biased forum)

    NOED can be annulated completely thus it is not a crutch perk. It is a viable counter to gen rushing which doesn't even get activated if the survivors destroyed all the totems, which can be done in like 1-2 minutes.
    It's apart ruin the only thing you have as killer to actually stop people rushing you.

    I am not a killer main, I am playing both sides, but I don't feel any challenge at playing survivor against a generally considered fair playing killer. Because there is none.

    Why do killers need to run perks to counter overpowered survivor perks?
    They serve no purpose than possible nerfing a survivor perk to the status they actually should be at by default.

    About the perk examples you gave:
    Unnerving Presence only does make the dstrike skillcheck zone smaller, but it is still easy for a good survivor to hit the skill check. Imagine now 4 decisive strikes. Maybe 1 good survivor will fail their skill check and you still chased down 3 people just to find them standing by a nearby pallet in 100% safety.

    Sloppy Butcher doesn't counter Self Care at all, lol.
    It makes healing slower by 50%.I
    It's a good perk, don't get me wrong, but you are still able to heal in no danger when being away from the killer when doing so. You aren't able without this specific perk in ANY case without a med kit (which effectively prevents you from bringing any item than a med kit). You'll have to find a teammate or not heal. This slows the game down a lot and the killer actually has a chance to stop gen rushing.
    But with self care this gameplay aspect is fully gone.

    NOED is not a counter againt Adrenaline either. These are two completely different perks, imagine 4 survivors bringing adrenaline and 1 killer brings NOED. Effectively 4 survivors heal 1 health state and get a sprint burst. The killer then has to catch up while there are still pallets, window loops and maybe a few dstrikes around.
    Only in very few situations NOED does anything against Adrenaline. NOED just makes the endgame more dangerous for survivors when the survivors didn't cleanse all the totems.

    So if you search and find a survivor successfully, they get to sprint away to a 100% safe pallet or window loop, just because they can.
    Does the killer have a ambush attack on pressing a button like the pig every 40 seconds?
    No? Guess why killers are complaining about weak perks.

    I love playing survivor and I love playing killer, I actually am used to these perks as killer, but I was complaining as survivor, when I wrote this thread.

    It's not fun for me playing as survivor with the top perks as they are too overpowerd (compared to the killer alternatives).
    I just feel ultimatively safe as survivor as I have like 3 second chance perks in my pocket to ######### the killer completely up.

    I regularly stop playing with these perks, but I keep getting back to them, as without them it is very hard to actually win game in a solo queue with ######### mates all the time.

    It just destroys the game for me and the killer I'm versing.

    However when I feel killer, I don't get the opportunity in the red ranks to configure my perk loadout as I want.
    I am forced to certain perks as otherwise the game is over within 3 minutes.

    I just want the devs to balanc the game for both sides.
    Currently atleast for the perks it is certainly not.
