I think, after the new patch the game has eating a lot of cpu usage according what it used to eat before update. Before update DBD used to take 50% of my (Intel Pentium - G4400 6th gen) cpu, but after the update the game taking 93% cpu usage. I can't even make a normal skill check (It's tough).Because of this, I'm constantly getting 50fps then down at 15-20fps. I play at Low graphics quality & 0% resolution scale. Still the CPU usage is mad at its own. I hope they would fix this problem, or else how can we (Low end pc gamers) would play dbd? :)
