Splinters for DLC killers

I know all splinters were disabled few patches ago and can no longer be used, but I wonder if there is actually someone who used them because they couldn't afford the DLC or just for fun. I kinda miss them because I like to collect all offerings, items and add-ons and I always keep at least one. So for all the veteran DBD players that likes to collect offerings and items, it must be sad that they can't collect them anymore.

How do you feel about them being gone? Do you miss them or is it a relief that you don't have to pay 7000 BP for them in the bloodweb anyomore?
