Trapper will become the best ?
We have Yamaoka and Freddy map, but with the next rework of the maps in future the Trapper has become the best killer ?
I wonder because Freddy and Yamaoka's maps have become big maps but also with a very dense vegetation, for the Trapper is a dream..

Trappers ability to use his power has never been what's holding him back. Trappers requirement to travel the entire map to FIND his power before he can even use it is what holds him back. Dude should seriously have stitched bag as base kit.

He's probably gonna become the best at one point via process of elimination, since every other killer is getting nerfed... and then the same fate awaits him, too.

He’s always been one of my favourites and I’m surprised more people don’t play as him. The absolute carnage that ensues once somebody is hooked beneath the killer shack is beautiful. I classed myself as a Legion main but switched to Trapper for some variety and he’s deadly with the right trap placements.
I expect to lose a few gens at the start of a match but once he gets momentum it’s game over.

This. Been playing him in purple/red ranks recently and having to run at least the uncommon trapper bad every game to be able to have even the most minor of setups in my 3 gen zone before at least 2 gens are done. I find him unplayable base.

I noticed it too ! In the basement it's a treat...
But they will probably get nervous, and at that moment they will do exactly like in Resident evil resistance, a point of no return...

It's definitely a nice buff to him. I hope that other maps get the vegetation rework that they have received - you can still see traps, scratchmarks and survivors crouching, but you have to be attentive.

Stitched bag and Trapper gloves should be base-kit.

I firmly believe that giving Trapper ALL of his traps at the start instead of a stitched bag, and be forced to go around and pick them all up if he put them in crappy spots, would make the killer and playing as them a lot better.

I personally don't find basement simulators fun which is why I no longer find Trapper fun. That's basically how every game goes with him now: someone gets hooked in basement, trap the living hell out of it, survivors either come save and die or do gens and leave. Every other Trapper game that doesn't involve the basement is a stressfest and the power very rarely comes into play because his setup time and early game is awful. Honestly I'm more surprised people actually play him considering how add-on dependent and how desperately he needs some changes.

I'd be good with that, tbh.
He ALREADY has to set up in terms of placing the traps in optimal positions. Having to go gather them from random ass locations just doubles that time.
