Technician Perk after update

Hey guys,
I have never used the technician perk and i am not interested in using it but i´m curious about how this perk affect the sounds of the generator now.
Before the patch, the noise of someone working on a gen was constant and, as a killer, you could now if someone was working just by passing nearby.
Right now, a survivor working on a gen is almost inaduible, because the sounds the survivor does is from time to time. Im curious to know if technician is reducing that noises or maybe is doing nothing at all.
This post is only curiosity but at the same time everything related to gen noises should be reworked (i remember a killer perk that also amplifies the sounds).
Thank you!
Regards!
