So they did it again
Can you go one update without breaking something? Just one? You managed to break the hooks, the most important thing in a killer game. Who knows, maybe if you fixed that spaghetti code stuff like this wouldn't be more common than not.

do you code yourself? this is a genuine question.

To say whether or not i do or dont doesnt change the fact at hand. Thats like saying the coaches cant criticize players because they dont actively go get tackled. But to answer your question, i code in engineering classes occasionally.

Being incapable of doing something doesn't make you incapable of judging someone else's work.
If the game doesn't work it doesn't work who gives a ######### if OP is a programmer or not. The fact is they somehow manage to ######### up something new with every single update and there's absolutely no way to deny that. I've never seen a million dollar company break their game EVERY time they push a new build.

that's the worst comparison you could have made:
A coach needs to know their stuff and a good one has actively played.
And with coding:
While I am amongst those saying the devs need to run the ptb for longer, even that wouldn't help, because code is a pain in the rear: You update existing code with something that was thoroughly tested and all of a sudden it won't work anymore and you just. don't. know. why.

Then here is a better comparison. You pay a dude to mow your lawn. He misses multiple spots and mulched the flowers. Just because you don't have that job doesn't excuse a shoddy product.

It's a shame with the past dlc and patch. Before I had no issues with the game, but then the hill glitch hit (mildly annoying and a little amusing, but still could ruin matches), and with the recent dlc a lot of issues from the hooks to the stickiness to framerates (Xbox here) the game has become less enjoyable.
I am hopeful for the new patch they're bringing out next Tuesday, and I'll try the resolution change suggested tomorrow. However, I really do hope that the mid-chapter patch that comes out will take into account the issues brought out this time.
Honestly, I have probably more faith in them than quite a few here. I'd rather they introduce less things at a time and get them working effectively. All games will have bugs - I hope they reduce the amounts that come out though.

If I paid a dude $16 four years ago to mow my lawn and he's been doing it ever since, I wouldn't mind the shoddy work

their code came up to a point where there's really nothing to do, spaghetti at its finest. If you change something, most likely a butterfly effect will bring back old bugs, like year old bugs, or just create new bugs that we never had issue before.

I know your joking but how tf did you get dbd for 16 i paid 40. Also based on the dlc I'd say you paid more than 16 dollars in total.
