How Would You Feel If a BioShock Chapter Came out?
Title.
But yeah how would you guys feel if BHVR and the Devs got the license for the BioShock Series?
Do you think they'll pull a Silent Hill and add one core thing from each game?
A map from the first game so maybe Rapture (more specifically Fort Frolic since that's a part of the game that sticks with players the most)
Then a Survivor from the 2nd Game
And a Killer from the 3rd game? 🤷♂️
Perhaps they could switch some things around and pick characters and maps from the other games in a different order. But for me it'd be pretty cool if the game joined the roster I mean either way if it was something else besides BioShock like Nemesis from Resident Evil or a horror movie killer I'd still be hyped for it. But what would you guys think of it?

I'd rather Big Daddies be the killer from the first game or second game since they are more iconic.

You could play as a Big Daddy in Bioshock 2 multiplayer. They had the drill attack, bolt gun, and sticky mines iirc. That's already something to work with.

Bioshock is one of my favorite games and has been for years--since it came out.
I don't want Dead by Daylight anywhere near it.
Also Infinite doesn't have an iconic killer and is mostly a FPS. Literally the big bad is the alternate version of Booker himself, so....

You have the same attitude as i do when people talk about bringing Predator and Alien in the game.

I only played Infinite but I know the only killer worth having is a big daddy...even though im not sure Bioshock is a horror game.
You must not know like any of the Alien or Predator games or have a REALLLY low opinion of DBD lol. Hope the new predator game is as good as the recent Alien one tho, but also probably a sign that Predator isn't coming to DBD anytime soon which is fine because i don't think they really hit. I mean look how bad he whopped Leatherfaces ass, survivors won't have a chance

I do, I'd rather they leave them alone.
Hollywood and the old video games have made them a laughing stock, honestly an autistic boy being enough to understand alien technology of a warrior race is just insulting to the IP.God i hate that they keep ruining Predator.
Alien got a fine game fit it perfectly, which is why i don't think either should be in DBD, they are about making you feel hopeless when they find you and you will die, pallets and vaulting be damned.

Bioshock 1 & 2 are horror games, but the third one isn't, really. The third one is an FPS game. Also I'm a huge Booker DeWitt fangirl and so if he was a survivor I'd have to pretend I've never heard of DBD so I don't have to look at it. I know Elizabeth is more iconic but I wouldn't want to see her butchered either.
Then in the first game, Jack the protag. doesn't have a face, he's just a first person set of hands, and the second one you PLAY a Big Daddy, so.

Ah that is true the Big Daddies are sort of the most Iconic parts of the game. That and Fort Frolic (at least that's what people remember fondly of the game with Sander and the Little Quests you have to do).
But yeah I do understand that infinite doesn't have any iconic characters they probably might be for others but it may not live up to the expectations of the first game.
And that last bit is understandable too since DBD sort of has a tendency of having characters who did all these badass things and prevailed through thick and thin and sort of levels it down to "Ayyy gotta run and hide from the killer 👉👉"
For me that'd probably make me disappointed due to that fact, but at the same time I'd be excited since I'm playing with a cast I haven't seen for 8 years

Id take a big daddy as the killer in a heartbeat. Rapture would be a fun map for sure.

Fun fact (maybe?):
Through some digging in design assets jack does have a full body render from the first game. (The reason for the whole render was because of the first idea/premise of the game)
Though personally for me I'm used to not seeing it, so I'm slightly unnerved or just "eh" by it. But yeah he does have a full official body render. Then again now that I'm thinking about it (and with some nostalgia hitting me on this) I'm starting to lean on your side of not wanting to see them butchered.

Infinite has iconic protagonists, while the other games do not. The other games have iconic antagonists, but yeah it's basically that 'I don't want someone reduced to a run & hide character.'

Jack's face was on the conspiracy wall before the reveal. There's clearly a photo of him.
And yeah Infinite fell on its face with the horror. It had cut content like people spliced between realities and the Boys of Silence actually following noise instead of being glorified security cameras which was a big #########.

Oh yeah? I played the game a few times but tbh I get bored of documents & etc so I miss a lot of that stuff. Plus I didn't love 1&2, I've always been really into Infinite.
