Why so many low-ranks are lacking intelligence?

I mean, is there a scientific explanation why so many (any I mean many) of them (especially yellow ones, it's a peak there) unironically misinterpret and misuse terms "tunneling" and "genrushing"? Even when they have 1000+ hours in game. They are overused to the point, where if you do gens at any point of the match - you genrush, and if you hit them 5 minutes after they were unhooked or you simply down unhooked person (to disable them from doing objectives, but still giving chance to be picked up) - you tunnel.

Is it a disease? How lethal is it? Can it be cured? Or is it just a simple lack of education?
