Pig with Undying/Ruin/Surveillance/Tinkerer seems pretty dang good.

I only started leveling her last night, so I doubt I'm coming up with some amazing strat or anything, but this build seems especially oppressive on indoor maps where your totems can be a bit harder to find. You just always have the information you need to prevent gens from being completed, and the Reverse Bear Traps seem to make totems a tertiary priority rather than a secondary one.

Might seem a bit overload on information with both surveillance and tinkerer, but knowing which gens are being repaired and which ones are about to pop are both useful in different ways. And while the stealth from Tinkerer might seem redundant, it makes it a lot easier to get grabs, since you'll likely have started to head towards a gen being repaired prior to it popping, at least in my experience so far.

Anyone else got any interesting builds with the new perks? Or just any good Pig builds in general. I've been absolutely wrecking with her using these, she's a lot more powerful than I gave her credit for prior to leveling her.

Not as Pig but I'm finding incredibly success with using the Ruin/Undying/BBQ base on all my killers. With nurse I throw on shadowborn, Bubba with bamboozle, wraith with enduring, freddy with Tinkerer, ph with I'm all ears, etc.

If there's one thing I have to give to bhvr it's that they really hit it out the park with perks this time round.

Yep, should be working nicely. The only drawback is, your traps will likely be removed before they even started, but thats still seom stalling, so ... except if they are commiting to a gen before doing trap, that could happen as well, now that i think about it.

Undying is a very well designed perk. You know it's doing its job when survivors call it OP.

Personally I wouldn't have thought TINKERER on a STEALTH killer, who can cancel their TR virtually at will.

Maybe Dragon's Grip might also be a good pick if you're going Surveillance/Ruin instead of Tinkerer.

Personally, I use Ruin/Surveillance/Nurse's/BBq on my Pig.

    ermm yeah...shocking?

Who knew good perks in combination would work well?

I can go into stealth at will, but it slows my movement down and I can't perform grabs. With Tinkerer on top of Surveillance, I find myself at nearly completed gens quite often, so being able to be stealthy while already standing means I can get there quicker and perform grabs from around corners FAR more reliably, although I don't disagree as a whole.

That said, I don't really use it for the stealth so much as for the info. The stealth is a very nice bonus, though. When it procs in chases and I don't have to crouch to do mindgames it's also nice, but a little more situational.

Oh, believe me nobody knows how detrimental to mobility Pig's stealth ability is better than me. Well, maybe with the exception of Scorpionz. I spend a lot of time down there.

I've also never really thought that with Pig, given the sheer lack of mobility, that a perk like Tinkerer wouldn't be all that great. Especially if the generator is across the map.

Well that's where Surveillance comes into play. Rather than waiting for Tinkerer to pop, I'm usually already on my way there.

Well, I'd say it simply works well in general. I'd say Undying/Ruin is quickly becoming meta and Tinkerer/Surveillance/BBQ simply synergize naturally with that combo and with a lot of killers' abilities.

If you're not running this on Billy then you are doing it wrong.

I'm not sure about Tinkerer. I would imagine you'd need to be a high mobility Killer to get any real mileage out of it.

Not with Surveillance. You know where they're repairing long before Tinkerer pops.

I explained as much in my first post: Knowing which generators are being repaired and which are almost done are both useful information for different reasons. If I see one has just started repairs vs one that's been worked on for a while, I know which one to start moving towards.

Simply because information initially appears to overlap does not mean it is less useful, you just have to know what to do with it. I know a lot of content creators in particular don't like using multiple "information perks" but I think there are ways to make them work better together. With simply one or the other, a low mobility killer doesn't really have the means to get around quickly enough to pressure effectively. With both, you know exactly where to go ahead of time and if timed right, you'll get there while undetectable.

This combo in particular works super well with Ruin because everything is always regressing, so surveillance provides far more information than it would if you had to kick gens, which I think is obvious. But if people are working on multiple gens, it really helps to know which is near completion with Tinkerer. And again, I don't think it's perfect or flawless or that this is some new meta or anything, I'm just saying every single game I've used it has been an absolute slaughter, which surprised me, since I have like less than 5 hours on Pig, am in red ranks, and all these perks aren't even fully leveled for me yet.
