Let's talk about SWF
What? I'm criticizing SWF? Oh sh1t! Must be a bait thread then!
Seriously, if I make a thread about a certain topic, it isn't automatically bait.
Anyway SWF is blatantly overpowered and instead let's just discuss potential nerfs.
-Survivors that queue together in an SWF can't equip perks
-Survivors in an SWF can only unhook each other a certain amount of times, until the SWF players are the only players that remain in the lobby.
-Keys are not equipable for survivors in an SWF
Assuming SWF gets nerfed using one of these suggestions, all three of these suggestions won't be applied. Please treat them individually.
-Survivors in an SWF get the oblivious status effect while within 16 meters of each other.
You are free to suggest other nerfs for SWF in comments, and if you think it's balanced feel free to say why.
This isn't intended to be bait, just an honest discussion. I'm not trying to start an argument.

I've said it before, and I will say it again and again until eventually it happens merely because there is no other logistical solution that will work. There needs to be three types of games, Solo, Group/Team, and Custom.
- Solo Que allows no more than two people to enter the Lobby as friends. No identifying information of any kind is shown until the end of the match to prevent setting up communications on the fly. That's it.
- Group/Team may enter their Ques with either 3-4 people in a team. They require one additional Generator to power the gates, and the Killer gets a 5th Perk unlocked. Thus, a 3-Person Team needs (5) Generators, and a 4-Person team needs (6) Generators. Having Group/Team as their own Que allows the DEV to balance and tweak for just this situation, without affecting the Solos. It could be my suggested balancing agents are too strong, or too weak. What is important is that the situation can be addressed without creating a logistical nightmare for Solos. Killers will not duck this Que when it is balanced.
- Custom Games: They stay the same way they are now.
*There you go, problem solved. Two out of three of these games lets people play alongside their friends (Custom and Group/Team). One of them even allows them to play with one other friend in Solo (not so much of a balance issue).

Swf is definitely powerful, sometimes overbearingly so, but I've said it once and I'll keep saying it. You can't punish people for playing with their friends. Sometimes people have 4 friends they wanna play with and relax, sometimes people stream and play with viewers, doesn't matter. The important part is you can't punish people for playing with friends.
So what else is there to do? Not nerf survivor as a whole because that would make solo even worse than eternal torment, but instead buff survivor in ways that don't affect swf but mean the world to soloq. For example, you can see the loadout of your team before the game starts, maybe even in-game. The aura reading of other survivors on Kindred becomes basekit, and perks such as Alert activate for all survivors. From there what you do is take killers, and supwrbuff them into oblivion. That'll be a lot more balanced; obviously you'll never get the reliability of communication with randoms but this is the best you can do without just adding voice chat.
