To start, why is this in creations? Second, moris are on the list to be changed, its just a matter of time. These balance changes helped and hurt both sides, take the most recent reworks for example. Bubba got buffed and Billy got nerfed.

Sorry to but in, but 2 years ago they said console optimization would be fixed, I don't think it'll be fixed for awhile

That seems to be the exception rather than the rule. And the devs have tried with console optimization, they just haven't done it very well. Considering the fact Moris are a constant topic on these forums, I'd say they are to be changed soon, its not like it'd be as hard to rework them as it would be to fix performance on console.
