Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Slender Concept Paragraph

Prologue

Before we begin I just wanna say that this is all subject to change an that I'm not a dev so I'm not perfect at this. This is also my first paragraph.

Licensing Concerns

Nothing particularly special here, just like any other licence. I will mention that this is based of Marble Hornets version of Slenderman since that's the media I have the most experience with.

Onto the concept.

Killer: The Operator (This is gonna be very complex)

Figure-2.png

Height: Extremely Tall (Literally the tallest possible)

Move Speed:105% (He has shown himself to be capable of moving, if quite slow)

TR: 24 M

Ability 1: The Sickness

Three stages.

Sickness 1: Vision is slightly distorted, survivors will begin coughing and Slenders TR is reduced to 16m. Gen speed is slightly reduced.

Sickness 2: Vision and audio are slightly messed with. Survivors begin having coughing fits that hinder them. Slenders TR is reduced to 8. Gen speed is moderately reduced.

Sickness 3: Vision, Audio, and Auras are inconsistent and distorted. The survivors will have a coughing fit that takes away a single health state upon entering it. The Operator is undetectable and generators can not be repaired.

Survivors gain an extra tier of sickness every 90 seconds. Survivors can break out by finding pill bottles scattered across the map.

Ability 2: Teleportation

Cooldown of 30 seconds. Upon pressing the button an indicator will appear and the Operator will teleport instantly to that location. All survivors watching The Operator will have they're screen temporarily covered by static when he TPs.

Notable Quirks:

Unlike every other killer, The Operators m1 is different. The Operator will simply stretch out his hand and survivors will cough blood, losing a health state, it will also apply 1 tier of sickness. Hooking survivors is different as well. Survivor will be picked up by a static monster and carried to the hook instead, it will function similarly though (While this was never seen directly, MHs in universe spin off included a static monster and it'd feel weird to watch The Operator pick someone up)

Addons:

Like usual I won't be outlining all of them, just the iris.

Entry #80 (Those who know MH know why this is important): Survivors in Tier 3 sickness and hooked once can be morid. "Regards"-Brian

Video Camera: The camera used to film MH. The Operator can teleport through walls. "I was doing fine! I was getting better!"-Tim Sutton

Perks:

Jays Obsession: One survivor is made the obsession. All healing and repairing actions made within 16/32/48 of the obsession are reduced by 50% "You have done nothing but make everything worse!"-Alex Kralie

To The Ark: Upon Hooking a survivor for the first time gain a token. After all generators are powered the tokens will be consumed and all affected survivor obsession perks will be negated, whilst all killer obsession perks will work on all survivors. "We will wait for you no more. Control is being taken away from you. From the start its been a game to us, not anymore. I'm coming for you. And you will lead me...to the ark."-Totheark

Mistrust: Your influence sows the seeds of mistrust. Survivors within 8/16/24 meters of you for 10 seconds are incapable of performing of performing team actions for 60 seconds. "I was going to tell you tonight Tim! I swear!"-Jay Merrick

Other stuff:

While not a full chapter I don't think its too far to give some smaller representation.

Legendary skins: Jay for Dwight. Masky for David. Hoody for Felix. Alex for Ace. Thats it.

Achievement: All forest maps have a small chance to spawn a page on it. It has no in game use but can be picked up by survivors. Grabbing 8 will give the survivor an achievement.

Conclusion:

To me Slenderman has always seemed like an urban legend, you know how some cultures have monsters that reflect them? Slenderman always felt like that for the internet, our own personal monster. While he has become slowly more and more silly over the years I believe he could make a decent addition to our roster. Thanks for taking the time to read this and stay safe out there yall.
