Should hook-related perks work with PH cages ?
Hey :)
The other day i discovered that saving people from Pyramid Head cages doesn't actually give you stacks for WGLF.
So i was wondering what would be your opinion about making it work for stacks ^^
[EDIT] Like Inji pointed out there are many perks relatedto hook that doesn't work either (MYC, We'll Make It, etc) So that would be making it work for all those perks rather than only WGLF

Cages dont work with perks that only work with unhooking, since they dont count as hooks. Cages also dont work on other perks like Borrowed Time, BBQ or Make Your Choice. To make an exception for one perk would be kinda strange. Especially since WGLF will also give you stacks when you take protection hits, so its not like the cages just disable the perk completely. One can still gets stacks by protecting teammates.

Well, why does it need to be an exception? Just make cages work like hooks for all perks.
They are basically just a different type of hook after all.
Only issue would be how badly the devs manage to ######### it up with a bunch of new bugs.

Kinda takes away the uniqueness of his power I would say. I like how it is not a hook. Pyramidhead already doesnt get any points in the Devout emblem when he uses the cages, since its not a hook.

I wouldn't care either way but if cages act like hooks all perks worked on it he should get points for Devout then.

Maybe, but on the other hand it could open up the start of custom hooks for killers.
Would help with possible future killers needing different hook mechanics. For example, if we ever got Chucky or Alien (just examples), they would look silly using a normal hook.

Protects against DS and other wiggle perks. Save time traveling to hook. No flashlight saves. Enables PH mori.

And make DS and BT work with the cages? No. I'm actually glad there's a killer who gives the middle finger to meta second-chance perks.

But it would be useless to Cage somebody because
- You dont know where the cage is
- The cage can often spawn right next to a survivor working on a gen which means PH lose pressure

But PH cant camp cages so BT wouldnt trigger and killer is unlikely to down the DS person within 60 seconds of a cage unhook anyway.
