Thank you for giving us the blight.
(First of all I'm a console player, and think he's fun) Oh my god, I love him so much. On the ptb, I hated him and thought he looked stressful, but with all the changes, oh my GOD he is so much fun. Not only is he fun, but he is a strong killer as well, you can actually use his power to deny loops if you're patient enough with his slams, and you can get a hit in between most loops as well. So, he has a strong chase, and he also has the best map mobility in the game, if you time your slams correctly. He can get across the map faster than a Billy (provided you aren't in a cornfield). So congrats, you made a fun, strong and balanced killer, that I main now.
His perks are also absolutely amazing, probably the best perks since plague. Whoever designed undying and dragons drip needs a raise.
My favourite build is shadowborn, BBQ, tinkerer and pop. Shadowborn is a comfort perk, and allows me to make plays I couldn't make (it works especially well on blight), BBQ allows me to B-line right to a survivor if I time my slams correctly. Tinkerer allows me to control the gens and kick them with pop, this combination with my map mobility is insane. Now, I'm going to load into a game with my new main :D.

Yah I've started to like blight. about a week ago I found him the most frustrating killer to play worse than nurse, but know that I figure out how to play him he's a good killer.
Ps what category do you place in order to post stuff in the discussions

Yes. Embrace the bouncy alchemist. We shall ricochet to victory.

You can place them in any category that fits the thread, however the forums have issues right now, that are being worked on.
Us pinball junkies must stick together :).

Bye bye Clown, hello Blight.
Seriously. I used to main Clown, but after playing so much Blight, he just doesn't feel as good to play.
The cherry on top is most of Blight's addons are decent imo, which surprised me as i've felt the quality of killer addons has been going down hill lately.

Yeah, killer add-ons have been ######### recently, (looking at you deathslinger and pyramid head), and I'm very happy we got some useful add-ons like the speed, turning, recovery, and pallet breaking add-ons.

One of the best designed killers they've made in a while. Same for his addon design.

I think the reason Blights been so popular is because people have been craving for high skill/high reward type killers similar to nurse/huntress etc.
We haven't had that in a while. Most the killers we currently have, have lower skill requirements and even played at their best are low power level.

Exactly, (however, deathslinger has a pretty high skill cap), blight is that killer that sits near the top, but requires a ton of skill to use correctly, and can be used in many ways, which is very good game design. Not to mention, I get to counter sprint burst, because ######### that perk.

These types of designed killers end up being good for game health as well.
Let's look at Nurse for example..
Killers typically dominate in low ranks and survivors dominate in high ranks. Nurse has a high enough skill requirement that it makes her weaker in low ranks to give the survivors more of a chance and it evens things out. Yet her high skill requirement gives her the potential if played well enough to better balance out the high ranks where survivors dominate.
Deathslinger has the the higher skill cap, but even played perfectly still can't keep up with good survivors in the way that Nurse/Spirit can. So he's got the "high skill" I'm referring to, just still missing the "high reward" part.

I'm really struggling with Blight TBH. Due to poor steering while dashing, seems too easy for survivors to dodge. I'd happy have to slam twice before a lethal dash or have a shorter dash distance, in exchange for more navigable control over the dash.
His power does not really lend itself to more claustrophobic levels like the hospital or the stranger things lab.
Practice may make perfect though,

I want to keep playing Blight and get better, but the interaction bug is sucking out my life force 😢

This can be frustrating, but the trick is to anticipate the dodge and NOT attack, but instead slam and rush again in an attempt to catch them off guard while they’re (potentially) disorientated from all the camera spin while dodging and keeping track of you.

Along with what @TheClownIsKing said, you also don't always need to hit with your lethal rush. Sometimes just closing that distance so quickly is enough to get you a normal M1 hit before they can reach a window/pallet.
The thing I enjoy the most about Blight is his ability to be in chase almost all the time. I don't need to hit all or even most of my lethal rushes, just being able to be on top of survivors near constantly applies immense pressure.
I remember I had a game where I scored a hit on a survivor just around ten seconds after loading in on Mother's Dwelling, and then managed to down them in another ten seconds, was probably the fastest i've ever had a hook.
