That's a good question. I would also like to know.

Macros "make sense" in other pvp games, but using macros for spamming the flashlight thing is just stupid.4

I thought they just bound it to the mouse wheel.2

Some do. Others use programs to make it so a single mouse click count as like 50 or more clicks.

Steam overlay turbo? But to answer your question, no. It does not give them an unfair advantage in any way.0

Didn't the devs say macros were allowed, like struggling.

Gosh devs, just ######### add a delay for using the flashlight, like 0.5 seconds.
Or deplete the battery more for first clicking it, so many potencial preventions...1 -

How does someone suffer from not being able to spam the click noise anymore?
If you deplete the charges on clicking for like 1%, it wouldn't really matter to people using it to blind the killer, but to people who are spaming the click noise as their flashlight is depleting.
Also there is still the option to add a delay which doesn't hurt anyone.

Simply put, with the release of the information about what will constitute a permenant ban, do people using those god damn clicker macros on flashlights count as "3rd Party Software" usage?using a macro period is a perm ban. but flicking your flashlight on and off by yourself is aloud. i have seen other survivors use macros to constantly crouch in-game without moving idk why.

Ah, yes, flashlight clicking. The most TOXIC form of taunting on the planet.
Like, at least you can look away from tbagging/pointing. If the day ever comes where it becomes bannable, me and Sharp Hand Joe will cry tears of joy.

What annoys me about it is it interferes with my ability to track a survivours injured noises. So ya it does give an unfair advantage albeit very specific and iritating.0

Well add to that the Wraiths using it to spam cloak/uncloak with windstorm multiple times a second or just spam it faster than it should normally work. They use it to flashlight auto click as well since I've had the same ones in both lobbies after reset.
