OK, NOW IM PISSED
Ok but I'm normally not the kind of person to do this kind of stuff but it's got to me.
I've been experiencing multiple frame drops, stutters and rubber banding on killer since the release of blight. After the hot fix, nothing happened. I have tried to be calm and look for help. One of your mods helped me fix this issue, or at least I thought. After I got helped I was no longer getting rubber banding and stuttering, but the fps drops still persists. Sure I have a crappy pc. But at least it ran the game damn find until blight. Don't get me wrong I love this game but sometimes I find things blatant.
I've met multiple of other players in game with the same issue and only a few here on the forums. I find it so stressing when I see a squad of baby survs defeat me all because of frame drops. Each time not even a kill sometimes not even a hook! Not that rank matters, but from 1 to 8 is pretty big! I just hate the feeling of facing more inexperienced survivors who stomp me because of crappy fps drops, sure that sometimes even with the low fps drops I might make the wrong choices. But if only I could count how many times I could of won from a actual game without fps drops getting in my way.
At this point I don't even want to play killer as it ruins fun. What the heck, even a kill or two will please me! Sure survivor works but I do t want to play it all the time. Not to mention how it stacks onto of the games ring hating me giving me the worst maps for every killer i choose. But that's a different topic. And no i will not go toxic and get up to the higher ranks, using Morris and crap. All because I'm having a bad experience doesn't mean others have to have the same fate.
Please it draining my fun. Can you please BHVR announce a fix or at least announce what systems are not compatible because that's all I want to know. Why and what's going to happen?!. Do I need a new pc or is it on your end.
Please no arguments aswell I'm not in the mood, I won't be able to respond straight away im taking a break from technology all together.
Also if any of you are experiencing this please do say, this let me no if it's actually common or not, or my fault. if you have a fix please tell me.

The things that pisses me off are the hook bug and when i can't vault windows as killer!!! And it's happening every game!
I hope we get hotfix tomorrow.

The new update brought a ton of optimisation issues with it. Some kind of memory leak happens when you play Blight for too long, dunno what it is but after 2 or 3 games of blight my frames tank and never become stable again until I restart my game. Unreal engines have never been known for their stability tbf. Borderlands and a bunch of other games just don't run well
Also what is up with the new pallet and wall break animations? How did that even get through testing lmao. They saw that animation and the FPS tank to around 20 whenever it happens and were like "yep, this is fine, ship it". Not even gonna question how or why the pallets shatter like glass into a million pieces after they get kicked down the middle but that's for another time.

Something that irks me particularly since the recent updates. I have a super fast computer, running on a 80 mbps internet connection. I ensure that there was no dl's happening on any other device in my household, and the only device to be on is my cell phone, and computer. My pc is consistenly pulling a majority of the bandwidth.
Without even a red poor connection symbol, I see other players and killers rubber banding around, getting free hits, getting free misses, and I'm just standing there confused and finding the game utterly unplayable if I have to rely on the other players to have as good of a connection as me, in order for me to have fun.
They should put a speed requirement into the game like Ubisoft did in For Honor.

After my so called break I literally went back in the game lmao, and it for some reason after I played blight it went to normal. But of course it just started dropping again.

Yeah the hook bug pisses me off sometimes but I've only had a survivor wiggle of once. But I haven't encountered the vault bug. Is there a certain window? But yeah I hope there is a hotfix tomorrow if not soon.

Oh wow I ever knew that. So it's my main boy blights fault for it. Smh just when I thought he was a good boy. Now that you mention it I get ok games with him. But imo don't like playing that much even tho hes my main cause of the fps he causes.

Yeah after I made this I came on after my break and came back on. I know lmao I'm weak. But this happening to me with huntress. The hatchets go straight through. Like wth.

Yeah, I don't have this issue. Instead the game crashed until I bought the Descend Beyond bundle (on Xbox btdubbs). And I always get put up against RANK 1 KILLERS when I'm here trying to "maintain" my low-red/high-purple rating with survivors all purple or even green.

The hook bug happens ALMOST in every single hook on console!
Also the vault bug happens in every game. Literally torture playing killer on console.

Yeah I see that a lot in my survivor games aswell. I'm a rank three surv so low red and I get teamed with yellows, greens or purples. With a rank 1 killer.

Oh damn you console guys/gals have ot rough. Yeah the hook bug does happen everytime when it happens walk back and and try from a range. And that other bug sucks, windows help the killer just as much as they hinder them imo.playing without a window in shack sounds like hell.

Here is the thing though, BHVR wants their game to go with the times as to stay and become appealing to players.
Heck maybe in the future future you are required to have a Ray Tracing card to play it.
I get your annoyance with this but with graphical upgrades, usually, comes more demand of hardware.
So yeah, maybe you could invest in upgrading your PC a tad? what are you running anyway? (my friend still runs an AMD HD7950 today which is like a decade? old now and she plays the game sitll fine for the most part on 1080p)

It's why I'm now on a smurf until my main's rank drops back down to about green. I hate it in red now. Rank 1 killers are just disgusting to go against as a casual player.
Before cross-play was implemented, I was getting relatively good games. About what you'd expect, even if the killer wasn't red ranks. Now? PC tryhard sweats all around! Nothing but god-aim Huntresses and Infectious Fright Instant-down slug killers as far as the eye can see!

I've been experiencing this too but not consistently. To me it seems more likely to be cheaters using lag to alter the game. I just had one where the ENTIRE match was stuttering me.

I constantly am teleporting a meter or less to my left and right every other second. My frames are in the garbage. AA makes everything look godawful on the "updated" maps. I constantly lose survivors near me because the grass completely obscures scratch marks and some survivors just don't make sounds.
It's not fun.

Tbh honest I knew this was the outcome of the graphical updates but not this harsh. I wouldn't be this pissed if they announced it, letting me know and totherbtobupgrade sooner. And as for my pc. I'm honestly ######### when it comes to PC and have no idea about them. But I know its horrible.

This was one of the worse moments, but on the whole, it makes the game extremely tedious and often unplayable.

Yeah the gen bug only happened to me once. I thought their was only one survivor on the gen even had a quick look before the chase. The chases was generally around the gen, then pop. I don't know how it just did, I didn't even hear it being worked on. Like #########.

This is a perfect example of what happens in my games constant teleporting and fps drops. Its literally annoying. But I would like to point out that you did this while recording, I assume that it makes the frames worse outside of the recording but, you played well in that situation. Even tho those survivors were potatoes. They got up to one gen! And by what I'm guessing, you moried one of there teammates early game. Showing how the fps drops ruins you pressure from chases. Making inexperienced survivors nearly escape without a single kill, getting out of the game and facing people they shouldn't.

Someone told me to change my virtual memory. I increased mine. And it stopped the rubberbanding. It still happens rarely teleporting me to the other side if the wall I turned or something.
But since your on ps4 or console in general, I don't think that you can do that. I'm sorry can't really help. Since if remember correctly ps4 don't have much optimisation options.

The switch is just as bad. All those problems you mentioned we are experiencing too. The devs should take notice. Their DLC/update was crap and it screwed the console players hard. Hit boxes, hooks, rubber banding, teleporting...and the new emblem system makes it very hard to pip as killer. I don’t think I’ve died once in the last five games as survivor, and that’s saying a lot. And the matchmaking is horrid. Last game it was me and another 12, a 9 and I think a 13 against a 17. It was awful to watch, I felt bad for the killer, they got 2 hooks I think? Sad. Devs make your game playable or lose your player base and your income stream.

Yeah that's the best option if not the only option, unless you wan to put up with it which I doubt most people will. Hopefully it gets fixed.

The game had a graphical update. I'm about 98% sure your pc might just not be able to handle the game anymore if it's bad like you say. This game shouldn't need a good set up, but it's so poorly optimized that it does. Other than turning your settings down I doubt there's a way to fix it for you.

Yeah your right just gotta see in the new update coming up, if it's not fixed then I'll have to wait until I get a new pc. I just wish bhvr would address that. But I have hope from the survey, but at the same time could be a hint, for an upgrade.

I just decided I'm not playing anymore until it's fixed. According to the website my laptop should be able to run the game, all be it low graphics, resolution etc... The point is the problems shouldn't be issues on my end but theirs.
I can't play when the game just randomly chooses to rubberband me back in the arms of the killer. It's a terrible experience and really annoying.

Yeah thats what thought, since my pc had the requirements, I should be able to run it right? No. Even with the lowest settings. I'm not playing either until o get a new pc or a new update.
