Random reset of in game progress and no adept trophy - PS4

I played Hillbilly for the duration of three matches after playing for several hours already, trying to get the adept Hillbilly trophy. I got a merciless victory with 4 iridescent emblems, and the trophy didn't unlock. I closed and reopened the game, and the selected killer was now the Doctor, who I had played before Hillbilly, and all my levelling progress of my Hillbilly and all the points I had earned had been reset to before I played as him, but my archive challenge was still completed.
Played as Hillbilly
Used Enduring 1, Lightborn 1 and Tinkerer 3. No add-ons, no offerings.
Last match played on Springwood
Short - lost level progress and bloodpoints, but did not lose challenge progress, and did not get trophy.
