Recent server improvements drastically improved my blink accuracy with Nurse, it makes me so happy.
I usually critise the developers for their lots of stupid or ignorant decisions, but for once I have to unironically applaud them.
With some on and offs I have been maining Nurse since the Legion update back in Decembre 2018. The game was peer-to-peer back then (killer was host), so I didnt have to account for any delay on my blinks or anything, and thus I quickly got the timing down. I was not always successful with my prediction, but atleast if I wanted to go somewhere, I got there without problems.
Then dedicated servers came around, and ruined everything for me. I had a good ping to them (40ms), but it would often fluctuate quite a bit. Going from anything from 30ms to 60ms sometimes even 70ms. Now this might not seem much, but for a high precision killer like Nurse it was crucial. The server would often undercharge my blink, because of an unexpected tiny hickup, and when no hickup happened, I purposely overcharged in an attempt to compensate, so I overblinked. Which in turn made me question my timing and musclememory, and lead to even more mistakes on my part, and further lowered my confidence in my blinks. One thing led to another.
Then a few weeks ago they improved their servers. Increased the tickrate to 60 and introduced a hit-validation (later got temperarily removed). Since by that time I already effectively gave up on Nurse, and with other killers and survivor I didnt really feel the tiny hickup, I just shrugged it all off like it was nothing.
But then I paid closer attention to my ping the next couple of games, and noticed how much it stabilised. It generally sticks around 40ms like before, but very very rarely jumps above 55ms or below 35ms, and I was like "Maybe maybe we could try out my girl Sally Smithson again?". And I jumped into some games with her and it went fantastic. Jungle Gyms? No problem. Trees? No problem? Irregularily shaped rocks on Ormond? Go give me some more!
I was actually able to enjoy Nurse again, because I consistently landed where I intended to, and it felt so nice! I just want to thank the developers for making this possible. I wish they would do more of these quality-of-life changes. Nothing that buffs or nerfs one side, but just little things that make the game more enjoyable for both sides, and eases up on frustrations you get.

Tl.dr: Nurse main had struggle with unstable ping on dedicated servers. Developers improve servers after over a year. Said Nurse main can hit her blinks again.
I just wanted to vent here, since I feel like the forum is sometimes with too much negativity.

Did they enable the 60 ticks and server hit validation? I thought they were only testing it.
And.. she still has some game breaking bugs that must be fixed before she becomes playable for me. Lose 2nd blink for no reason, shorter blink, dead zones in midwich..

The 60 ticks are thing, yes, and it makes ping so much more stable. Yes, she has some other bugs, but for me personallly they become much more uncommon. Maybe its a connection-thing? I see some content creators basically not even mentioning their bugs.

She feels better to play i agree! Why can't i blink up the wooden structures with the ramp on the swamp maps though? I can't tell if it's intentional or not because if you're completely horizontal with it you can blink to it but you can't blink UP it. Strange.

You mean Grim Pantry? Is that new with the most recent patch? I havent played since the latest hotfix, but I rememeber Grim Pantry to never be a major problem for Nurse.

Yes, not the main two story building with the basement spawn and not the other two story building with stairs and the see through mesh but the wooden structure in the corner of the map near shack. That structure has a ramp leading up to a deck and it's on a hill and for whatever reason you can't blink up to the deck part but you can blink to it if your completely horizontal with the deck. It's really annoying.
