It should not exist in the first place, it is only rubbish in the Bloodweb. This Offering will be used once in a Blue Moon.

IMO the information where the Basement is (20 seconds is fine) should be given to the Killer as Baseline. And the Offerings for the Basement (and Hatch) should be removed again.

They wanted to create new Offerings for a long time. And they also should fit with one of the Characters (Felix, in this case). But honestly, I hope that this does not happen that often. The Survivor Bloodweb is already filled with so much Junk since over the years Nerfs made a lot of Add Ons and Items not really worth taking, on top of the Offerings you mentioned. And while this is not really the case for Killer (at least currently, since they have way less Add Ons than Survivors Items/Add Ons), it should not come to the same situation Survivors are currently in - having to do so many Bloodwebs to get the stuff you actually want.

If you don't wanna be hooked in the Basement, now you'll know where to avoid.

If you wanna search Chests, now you'll know where one is.

That's pretty much all the Survivor advantages i can think of though.

I mean it's about as valuable as the napkin that allows you to start "far away" from the killer which lasts all of 5 seconds more against Billy or Blight - though I guess new players who don't want to be chased first might see value in it.

I have to agree with @Aven_Fallen that it's just more rubbish to an already cluttered bloodweb that sinks millions and millions of bloodpoints away and gates "GAMEPLAY" features like actual perks, teachables, useful items away from newer players who have this literal Mt. Everest of games to play if they started recently. I try every few years to get some new folks into the game with me - most say they would rather grind it out in an MMO for the time they have to invest in this game to not feel like they're playing at a disadvantage. So far only two out of like two dozen have stuck it out - one logging over 200 hours while taking care of his kid and working full time. He pretty much has ONLY the base characters at 40 across the board with just their teachables unlocked that is WITH me giving him advice on how to approach which teachables and tricks to save as many bloodpoints as possible on bloodwebs. He's still only around green ranks for both killer and survivor and has hundreds of games under his belt already.

The other has logged about 400 hours and bought every single chapter during the DLC sale (win for BHVR I guess). He is still leveling level 1 characters up to get teachables done. All this rubbish on the bloodweb is the actual isse with this game considering how many characters have been released since it's first inception before the roster was 20+ deep on both sides.
