Imagine nerfing Thanataphobia

how is it a nerf? it encourages survivors to heal which, not having a healing debuff anymore, wastes their time by forcing healing or facing the buff it received by not healing. Are you dumb

if it slows the game down for a minute or two, then it’s already done an insane job, arguable corrupt level of game slowing.
You also gotta remember that currently thana really does nothing unless your playing a killer who prevents or makes healing insanely hardly. The new thana forces people to heal unless they wanna push through incredibly slow gen times. I don’t care if people heal and then try to gen rush me because they’ve already wasted so much time healing.

When Killer is in the middle of a chase, that is definitely when SWF stay apart to make sure that multiple gens pop in quick succession by the time the Killer manages to actually deal with the chase.

well 1-2 minutes longer if they put 8% on it which i guarantee they wont

thats what you think because you dont use discordance
ive tested my theory and in 5 games vs coordinated survivors they actually grouped up during the chase on one gen and then quickly did another one, its much better strategy on bigger maps

That's how an efficient SWF team plays. They split up so the Killer struggles with pressuring gens.

Every time I use discordance it rarely goes off in my experience. It's one of the reasons I stopped using it.

So do none of us know what a side-grade is? It's not always buff or nerf. Thanatophobia changes are just gonna make it meta on Legion and Plague. Plague is obvious, either they get smacked with what will probably be changed to -30% gen speed or give you Corrupt Purge, and imagine this build on Legion.
Monitor and Abuse, Coulrophobia, Thanatophobia, and Sloppy Butcher
Iridescent Button + Random Add-On IDK
It will be literal AIDS to play against.

I imagine that build will get rolled over easily by any competent survivor group. Legion with no chase perks? All it takes is loading into mount Ormond and it's gg.
And there is no way the developers are going to describe a perk as "lose-lose" and then NOT have the change be a nerf. Be real.
But why shouldn't the killer be rewarded for injuring the entire survivor team at once, and also be running a perk that could have little to no impact if the killer doesn't apply a lot of pressure?

Surprise, suprise. It turned out exactly like I told you. +1% aka +0.8s per survivor.
Tell me again how this is a buff. And yes its now slighty better on plague. lol.

That's not 24% slower gens...
0 -
Well, we now that Thana now gives a 5% debuff, so now we know that it'd be 20% slower gens.

I'm going to guess the change is because of those god-awful Wraith/Ghostface sloppy/thana/nurses build, or legion with mangled/thana. Those builds weren't fun, and if survivors don't find something fun...
The 1% is a pity buff to killers

No one will try healing during ff and it only lasts like 10secs. Sloppy will not work in ff either. So if survivors split up they will counter this build.

It's still not 20% slower gens... It's 5% even on 4 survivors. Care to explain how your logic makes any sense?
Let's make things easy and say it takes 1 survivor to do a gen in 100 seconds. Therefore, 5% increase would mean it would take 105 seconds. Now let's say u have 4 survivors working on 4 gens at the same time. All 4 gens finish at 100 seconds when uninjured and if they're uninterrupted by a killer. If they were all injured then all 4 gens pop at 105 seconds. However if it was a 20% slow down you'd expect them to all finish at 120 seconds.
Now let's imagine that the survivors are dumb and only do 1 gen at a time. So 5 gens would be done in 500 seconds while we're still using the 100 second rule. Add a 5% increase on all gens and u get 105*5 = 525 = 500* 1.05. Oh wait still only a 5% increase?

I don't think you understand how Thanatophobia works. Every Survivor receives a stackable 5% penalty to gens for each Survivor that is Injured, Dying, or Hooked. If all four Survivors are injured, then each Survivor has a 20% speed penalty to doing gens, which means a Survivor is doing a gen 20% slower.

How did your comment work out? Lol it’s not hard to know what bhvr does as we have 4 years of experience to go off of.
so you just keep on with thinking you actually need a ptb to make very educated guesses

To be fair, I didn't figure that the buff to repair speed reduction would be THAT low. I thought there was a reasonable chance for 8%. I thought at the very least it would end up at 6%. 5% is just pathetic. It is a hard nerf for anyone besides Plague and Legion.
I'll probably still use it on Legion because healing against them is generally a mistake so he doesn't need to slow that down. I won't use it on anyone else anymore though.

This is how you know I don't play killer.
0 -
welp, just as expected.

Tana is a ridiculous perk but devs nerf it hahaha hahaha

Combined with Dying Light, I still think it's insane. Tested it with friends earlier.
Give it a few days, weeks. People will forget about it, just like they did with Ruin once it was reworked.

people didnt forger about ruin at all is just that now undying exists... for now.
