WGLF buff is a bit terrifying π¨
I appreciate that there will be more ways to obtain tokens. I was a little confused in the wording because I don't know if healing someone from the dying state will get you a token, but upon hearing that flashlight saves will get you a token means that the probability for a flashlight carrying, sweaty SWF team is going to be higher than ever.
Finding the desire to play killer was already pretty low given the state of matchmaking, and now that desire is even worse than before.

I actually like the change, but I play both Killer and Survivor (still far more Killer though).
WGLF getting better seems only fair to me considering how superior the Killer equivalent of BBQ is.
Being another anti slug tool is great too as it will further lessen the complaints about slugging.

I doubt that will cause any trouble. Swf survivor teams that want to play like that are doing it now before the buff, I doubt we'll see a lot more of that with this buff.
I am honestly disappointed that the exttra effect of WGLF doesn't even come near the effectiveness of BBQ and Chili for killers. At least from the sound of it. It could need a lot more than increased healing of downed survivors.

π Yes I'm aware LOL. But I also know what it's like to go up against a four-man team that are carrying all flashlights. Needless to say it's kind of hard to find the right angle when you got a toxic four-man flashlight team.

Yeah I was hoping to get a token for healing someone from the dying state. That takes a lot of time to do and I think it's only fair.

4man toxic SWF are very, very rare.
Just because 4 friends who are decent at the game play together and use flashlights, it doesn't make them toxic, it makes them people who are good players working as a team and using the tools they've been given.

They buffed Lightborn (Hillbilly's perk) to completely negate flashlights and even aura reveal people who are trying to blind you. If you see 4 flashlights and are actually stressed about maybe getting flashlighted (Which can be played around fairly easily as you get more experience) just run the perk and laugh at their faces as they either start to rage DC or stop using flashlights at all. Better lightsaber counter than franklins for sure.

Although I agree, flashlights are obnoxious. Iβm not saying theyβre overpowered or easy to deal with either. Simply that theyβre obnoxious.

I dont see this chsnging gameplay in any meaningful way except that it will be easier to get tokens so more people are going to run it. If anything it means they have to give up something useful for it.

Flashlight saves already get you a token. Same for pallet saves and I think head on saves too.

I've gone against 4-man Flashlight teams, and they're by far the easiest games I play because flashlights are a terrible item that do almost nothing. And I'm trying to wrap my head around how you think flashlights are toxic, and why killers dodge flashlight lobbies because they're the easiest games as killer because everyone's going for flashlight saves and not doing gens. Not to mention the fact that if they use them at pallets they're not gaining as much distance as they can on you so chases are much shorter.

Flashlight saves already gives you stacks tho? Unless they removed that at some point and are putting it back in. I've gotten stacks from both pallet stun saving and flashlight saving

If you play smart then going against flashlights can be a great thing as in many cases those idiots will just follow you around whenever someone else is being chased. Meaning less people on gens.

The only terrifying thing is that bhvr doesn't understand their own game again. They compare WGLF to BBQ and fail to understand that this is a 4v1 game and not a 1v1. There is no reason for WGLF to have secondary effect. Killer perks are supposed to be better than survivor perks. Or at least they should be.
