How to fix the "kill obsession" challenge
Instead of killing your obsession by any means.... "Kill your obsession by hooking them 3 times in a trial" No more mori off first hook, no more tunneling, no more camping. Reduce the requirements by 2-5 or something.

There's a different problem with this change though: now survivors can botch your Tome Challenge by DC'ing or self-sacrificing without being hooked 3 times. I don't see how this suggestion does anything to discourage tunneling either (it would actually probably encourage it even more).
Either way, they aren't about to change this challenge with a little over a week left in the Rift. Plus mori's are on the list to receive a future rework and we will hopefully also see the Devs attempt to address the heavy-tunneling strategy eventually.
With luck, the players still trying to finish this challenge may at least choose to play "Rancor Roulette" instead of going for the nastier options.

it gives the option and makes it why there are more than one kill. to be that specific does not help. for instance hook 5 people, down 2 while they are exposed and kill one by your hand while using devour hope. the option is to use devour only or something else. you can't make something that specific and expect it to be reliably done.
