Curbstomping the Other Team: Why Do People Find This Fun?

As the title asks, I'm curious why people find bullying and trashing Killers, or Killers absolutely shredding Survivors fun.

There has to be a reason, because every time my master plans fall apart, I just feel sad and almost disconnect from the match because I'm not having fun anymore. Screw my four stacks of BBQ, when my Totems are gone, Feng Min and David keep running me in infinity circles, and I keep getting Head On'd by some Houdini Meg that vanishes into the fog, I don't want to play anymore. It just ISN'T FUN.

Likewise, when Wraith knocks me down and hooks me only to cloak and wait for someone to show up so they can knock me back down consequence-free, it feels awful, and I may as well suicide on hook, if not for the fact I'm buying time for my friends to survive on.

So can someone please explain how anyone finds this type of gameplay fun and amusing?

And I'm not looking for a "The campy tunnelers are brain-dead" style of response, because trust me, I'm a Killer main, I know how brain-dead that life is. I tried it at one point, way back in March before I learned how the game works.
