Yamaoka Unreachable Totem

I had a problem in a match today at Yamaoka, I can't recall which map unfortunately, but there was a dull totem inside a nook in the rocks which was unreachable. I tried it from every angle possible, but it wouldn't give me the cleanse option, no M1 prompt. I saw someone else attempt it later in the match, they had no luck either.
I play on PC via Steam.
