Dead hard exhaustion & immortability not working

I press the action button at the right time and the game even tells me I've gotten exhausted by using deadhard but while leaping you're not supposed to take damage which is not working. It has happened every time I try to leap throught the killer the last 2 days and it makes the perk useless as the most powerful part of it is bugged.
