Killers camping off first hook
Every single time I go against a Bubba, they hook camp the very first survivor. Other survivors are either expected to leave him alone and let him die after 30 seconds of game-play, or risk a 4k. This is getting ridiculous. It's the first hook! And then the killers sit there and try to talk about how survivors falling for it should be punished. It shouldn't be a strategy. No player should have to sit on a hook the first 30 seconds into a match because the new buffed Usain Bolt Bubba can rush in with a chainsaw that has almost no graze anymore, down them and hook camp.
Here's the fix. For the FIRST HOOK, unless the killer is actively in chase, for every second the killer stands in front of the hook, self-unhook chance significantly increases. The survivor then gets a built in DS to seal the deal. I am literally tired of this #########, and for every killer that says "Oh, you're running toxic perks..." The toxic perks exist BECAUSE you do this, and based on the fact that it's still happening, clearly the perks aren't good enough. Stop bitching about DS, BT, Unbreakable, etc. YOU'RE the reason they're in the game.

Nope, you're entitled to play the game. If killer s choose that type of play-style, there's no reason in the world for them to complain that counters exist in the form of perks to destroy that. The problem is that the game developers created perks and abilities in order to control the game, but tunneling and camping just kind of became a thing. Yes, I completely agree that the team counter to being camped is to rush gens, which killers will then try to argue as justification for why they camped to begin with. The problem is that, thanks to the introduction of a ranking system, which revolves around personal performance, team co-op isn't much of a thing anymore. Gens getting done are simply a side effect of the game. There's no actual coordination unless you're doing SWF, which killers also complain about. Apart from SWF, I'm honestly unsure what benefit killers believe survivors get over them. It isn't the the numbers, since more often than not, it's other survivors that completely screw the game over. If perks didn't exist, survivors would have a very hard time in chases, which are naturally stacked in favor of killers, who both move faster in general, and who gain speed buffs the longer they chase. Killers, minus perks, still have their personal abilities. They need perks. But regardless of what build they run with, it's a lose/lose, because killers will get upset. Stealth build? Holding up the game. Chase build? Overpowered. Healing? Overpowered. Gen build? well, hell, even without any gen perks, killers complain that survivors gen-rush them. Believe it or not, survivors and killers feel the same sense of entitlement. I don't care about killer perks, I care about toxic strategy that can't be countered, unless you simply throw one survivor to the wolves because they lost a chase that, once again, is stacked against them. IOn the case of killers like Bubba, they move just as fast as everyone else, they have instant-downs that add movement speed and hit everyone nearby, and they instantly break pallets. They also get the classic bloodlust in chases. So yeah. Sorry if a survivor loses a chase to that. That shouldn't be gg because the killer decides to camp.
