Chapter Concept: Fall from Grace

New Realm: Seattle

The city at midnight is a beautiful place... or it normally is.

When the lights are out, the streets empty, and the sound covered in an eerie fog, the constant rainfall becomes more ominous than charming.

New Map: High Rise

Hope you're not afraid of heights.

Two adjacent skyscrapers connected by a fallen crane, which acts as a bridge between the two. The stairs to the ground level are blocked, the fire escapes destroyed, the crane's ladder too rusted to descend, and the drop unsurvivable, so the only way out is to repair the generators and power the elevators.

Each building contains three accessible floors (lower, upper, and roof). You can access the other floors of your building through a staircase. The buildings are each 45x45 meters, and are separated by a 20x2 meter crane, which connects the lower floor of one building to the upper floor of another. The top of the crane is also traversable, and will allow you to traverse from the upper floor of one building to the roof of the other.

Each building has an elevator on its lowest floor and one generator per floor. The seventh generator is on the crane.

New Killer: The Falcon

An avian killer, able to use his power Bird of Prey to soar through the air and attack survivors from the skies.

His unique perks, Eagle Eyed, Hex: Gathering Storm, and Scent of Fear enable him to increase his tracking capabilities while muddling those of survivors.

Stats

32 meter terror radius

3.5 m/s walking (hopping) speed 8 m/s alt (flying) speed

Alternate Attack is a Basic Attack.

Short

Power: Bird of Prey

While on the ground, press and hold the power button to Take Flight (Costing one Stamina), gaining the ability to move through the air at a greatly increased speed, but reducing your ability to turn and losing the ability to perform break or vault actions until you land.

While in flight, press Space alongside a directional command to flap your wings, altering your course to that direction, up to a 45 degree adjustment. Doing so will cost 1 charge of Stamina (max 3). Recover 0.175 charges per second while in flight and 0.5 charges per second while on the ground.

Colliding with a wall will cause the Falcon to crash back down to earth, be stunned for 3 seconds, and lose any remaining Stamina.

The Falcon can perform quick attacks and grabs while in flight.

Perks

Eagle Eyed

Your eyes are sharper than expected.

When an aura reading effect on a survivor ends, continue to see their aura for an additional 1/1.5/2 seconds.

Falcons have eyesight that is eight times better than humans, allowing them to spot their prey from a mile away! Wouldn't want to be a rabbit!

Hex: Gathering Storm

Gain a token for each unique survivor you have hooked.

1 Token: Slightly/Moderately/Considerably increases the thickness of the dark mist from the survivor's perspective.

2 Tokens: Dark clouds roll in. The trial is considerably darkened.

3 Tokens: Torrential downpour begins. All survivors suffer from the oblivious status.

4 Tokens: Lightning begins. Every 8-16 seconds, reveal the auras of all survivors for 2 seconds.

Scent of Fear

Survivors struck by your basic attack are slightly/moderately/considerably more discernable for the remainder of the trial.

"Now, don't be afraid. The bird is probably more afraid of you than you are of it."

-Excerpt from a torn, bloody falconry guide.

New Survivor: Mike Brock

A crude sleazeball, able to prioritize what's really important.

His teachable perks, Thrown to the Wolves, Sucks to be You, and Unscrupulous Survival enable him to make the most out of his allies' defeats.

Perks

Thrown to the Wolves

While you are performing a cooperative repair, the perk is primed until six seconds after cooperative repairs cease.

If the perk is primed and the killer initiates chase onto a survivor you were repairing the generator with, the perk activates for 10/15/20 seconds.

While active, repairs on the generator you were cooperating on will progress as if the chased survivor were still repairing with you.

"Wow, he's a goner. Oh well."

- Mike Brock

Sucks to be You

Causes an Obsession to spawn.

Considerably decreases your chances of becoming the Obsession.

Causes the obsession to spawn as close to the killer as the spawning algorithm allows.

If you are not the obsession...

Spawn at least 64 meters away from the killer.

See the aura of the nearest generator to your spawn location for 40/50/60 seconds.

Prevent the killer from seeing the aura of said generator for the same duration.

"Finally, some peace and Quiet"

-Mike Brock, as his tools friends were being chased

Unscrupulous Survival

When the hatch is closed by the killer, the perk activates.

Unlocks the ability to remove entity blockers on generators and increases your repair speed by 100%.

If you are able to complete a generator, re-open the hatch, relocate it to a position greater than 32 meters from the killer, and see its aura for 4/5/6 seconds.

"Hey HEY HEY! I'm not done here!"

-Mike Brock
