Killer concept: The Crusader

Most of my effort went to the power itself, as I am not good with art and I didn't feel creative enough for lore.

If I were to compare this to other killers, it would be a Pig/Oni hybrid of sorts that trades a bit of Oni's lethality for Pig's slowdown.

As for finer details on the power, map, and appearance; here are my notes.

Killer concept: The Crusader

A fanatic killer, able to call upon the Entity to bless himself while causing misfortune to those who oppose his faith with The Entity's Blessing.

- tall

- 4.6m/s

- 32m TR (40m Blessed)

- wields a Grand Lance in the right hand, only using the left to equip a large Cross from their waist when Invoking Prayers or Curses.

Power: The Entity's Blessing

Skewer:

- press and hold the Power button to assume a charging stance with your lance and dash forward (aka begin a Skewer).

- 3 second charge time (gradual increase in speed during charge).

- 180% movement speed at full charge (200% while Blessed).

- limited turning but allows strafing (slightly better turning than Blight).

- pressing the Attack button whilst performing a Skewer will halt your momentum and give a small window of time to initiate a sharp turn in any direction, starting up another Skewer.

- after initiating a sharp turn, subsequent Skewers charge time is reduced to 2 seconds.

- can only perform a Skewer at full stamina.

- stamina regenerates at 5 charges per second (20 seconds to fully recharge from 0).

- stamina meter has 100 charges.

- stamina meter depletes when skewering at 4 charges per second, and you lose 20% stamina when doing a sharp turn.

- may Skewer up to 2 survivors.

- Skewering a survivor will keep them pinned to your lance, allowing you to pin them to a wall to damage a health state.

- you cannot perform sharp turns while a survivor is pinned to your lance.

- survivors may attempt to wiggle out of a Skewer, slightly altering your movement whenever they attempt it.

- running out of stamina will free any survivors pinned to your lance and put you into fatigue.

- fatigue is 2.75 seconds long.

- when you have a survivor pinned to a wall, you have a brief window to press the Active Ability button to activate your secondary power "Invoke: Curse".

- if 2 survivors are pinned to your lance, the struggle effects are greater and they break free quicker.

- if 2 survivors get pinned to a wall, the first one skewered is inflicted with Deep Wounds.

- if 2 survivors are pinned to a wall, you cannot Curse them unless you are Blessed.

- successful Skewers that damage survivors have the same recovery as a successful basic attack (3 seconds).

- a successful Skewer on 2 survivors will add 0.5 seconds (3.5 seconds).

Secondary Power: Invoke (Curse + Prayer)

- press and hold the Active Ability button to reduce movement speed to 50% and Invoke a Prayer.

- 4 second charge.

- Invoking a Prayer will grant you the Blessed effect.

- the Blessed effect lasts for 40 seconds.

- the Blessed effect increases Skewer movement speed by 20%.

- the Blessed effect halves stamina drain (applies to sharp turns, draining only 10% per turn).

- the Blessed effect allows you to Curse 2 Skewered survivors at half the duration (15 second Curse debuff for both survivors Skewered).

- the Blessed effect is shown to survivors as patches of black fog surrounding you and a larger TR.

- you have 10 Invoke tokens by default.

- Skewering a survivor replenishes 1 token.

- Curse uses 2 tokens.

- Prayer uses 2 tokens.

- a survivor pinned to a wall can be Cursed, leaving the Cursed debuff for 30 seconds.

- the Cursed debuff will cause any generator interacted with to be forcefully blocked for 20 seconds, showing the aura to the killer.

- the Cursed debuff will cause any window vaulted to be blocked for 10 seconds (only one window may be blocked for each survivor).

- the Cursed debuff is visible on the HUD for all, indicated by a red cross through the survivor's status portrait that fades as the Cursed duration ends.

Perk 1: Unholy Gospel

When a survivor is hooked, all other survivors see 2 extra hook notifications and auras scattered across the map.

The hooked survivor suffers from the Blindness status effect until unhooked.

Perk 2: Hex: Death to the Heretics

A Hex rooted in your faith to the Entity. All who stand in the way of your faith shall face judgement.

Downing a survivor grants you power.

- 5 tokens: If 2 or more survivors are performing cooperative actions, they shall scream and reveal their location for 3 seconds.

- 7 tokens: Downing a survivor grants a 7% Haste status effect for 30 seconds.

- 10 tokens: If 2 or more survivors are performing cooperative actions, they shall become Exposed for 40 seconds.

Perk 3: A Test of Faith

You now see auras of chests within 40m and can interact with them.

Interacting with a chest causes your terror radius to be transferred to it for 30 seconds, granting you the Undetectable status effect.

Survivors who attempt to open a chest in your terror radius shall scream, revealing their position for 3 seconds.

Cooldown of 50 seconds.

Map: Heretical Dungeon

A dark prison beneath the earth, littered with several bodies of the jailers, oddly close to one cell, in which a few strange, black spider legs have pierced open the cell door.

Appearance: The Crusader is a fully armored man, donning a set of silver 16th century German plate armor and an armet style helmet, with a small cloak on the right shoulder and a large pauldron on the other. All gaps in the armor are devoid of light, making the armor appear as if it were empty. Slung over his shoulder is a leather strap that holds a large cross at his waist, the cross itself is normal aside from a small Entity tendril grasping the left side of it.

I am sure some stuff could use tweaking for balance, but I am pretty happy with the result.
