Beating a Dead Horse Until...
Behavior does something about it. Not a hate post on Devs, they work hard and obviously have tons of complaints on their plate.
But when will Keys and Moris (specifically eboni) be swept from the game, or at least nerfed to hell? As a new killer I'm tired of seeing multiple bad survivors have a free escape before gens are done. But, also tired of bad killers getting a one hook kill off of me while in the meantime everyone else escapes. Congrats, you showed your Twitch audience that you suck without free escapes / kills.
With Noed you can blame not doing totems (an unrealized core mechanic by most). But dood you should not be rewarded for not completing the objective efficiently on either side.
Few biased complaints lead to unnecessary nerfs on killers that are difficult but fine. But multiple complaints to BOTH keys and moris by both sides are ignored. Why?

Little salty on my end and jumped the gun. I hope to see some good improvements. :) On either side I hate using those items and meta perks, and know people hate going against them. Glad to know it's being addressed.

Not sure when the official announcement from Peanits was, but video I'm watching about it is from August 6th. So they should be in the process of doing so.

Ok, so a few pointers here. Like ToxicMyers said above, they're being looked at which is great.
But. Keys. They actually require [Living survivors +1] COMPLETED GENERATORS which means that one of 3 things happen. Either the killer is losing so badly it doesn't matter, you've already closed hatch, or two of them pushed and got out after 3 generators were complete and it was a close match.
Mori's are totally busted and flat-out deny more of the game than keys. They need a serious look, or like I've suggested before, cancel all ranks for that game.
As for NoED, it is a team effort, but in my experience it's always the one who actually does the totems who gets punished, aka me. I can regularly do 3-4 without detection perks and still get done in by NoED.

I think BHVR has some issues with priorities. They hide behind "taking precautions" and "safe balancing" but honestly nobody asked about graphical update (game can lag even without it on good gear), and there are many examples what should be fixed/buffed/reworked right away. They want to nerf slippery meat, but it won't help trapper in any way since nobody is using that perk, and it won't be used because we have deliverance. And so on...
I'm not saying i would do a better job, but if i could be a DbD lead designer i would probably try to see how hard it is. Or maybe they don't even play DbD, and they make patches based solely on blind guesses and feedback from casual testers who plays it 20h per week just because they pay them to do it.
We have like 0 feedback from them what they are doing now. Based on how big DbD already is, they could have PTB set up permanently and make some small changes every month. If they are too severe for balance - reshape them. If not, make them go live and see how it goes there.
I don't know what to think about it - it is always easy to judge and guess like i am doing now, but they are going most of the time in the right directions, DbD is probably in the best shape possible now - but some changes are really unnecessary in comparison of what players expect to be done.

I mean, when your one objective is to kill survivors, and you fail at doing half of your objective, that could cost either a pip or even a saftey pip. Its not even like moris are unskillful either,itsthe same as if the dude went to second phase on first hook(which wouldbe my counter so i could capitalize on the time my team has if the dude is proxy camping). I do say this, cutting any part of your objective out is really really boring. For example, keys only require you 3 gens to cost a killer a pip, which if im not mistaken is 40% of the objective removed just by using an item, and moris cut out 1 hook state on each survivor, meaning instead of the usually 12 if you want to get a earned 4k, you only need to get 8 downs. which is 33% percent of the killer objective gone. Both are unbalanced and unfair. But keys and moris are similar in power when it comes down to it. Only difference is a mori can just delete a survivor out the game very quickly if its a good killer.
Edit: to add on to my mori aren't unskillful statement, you still need to down people to use it, get no downs you get no mori

Thats the point. If u suck, u should bring a ebony mori to stay motivated. Otherwise u will be just bullied and ragequit and go back to survivor and be that baby where ur taken care of from other survivors. even the killer let's u escape sometime.
But to bombard the killer that he sucks is counterintuitive.
This game doesn't need anymore survivors, it needs more killers.

So, I stopped playing this game for like a year around the time PUBG came out and I remember they said they were going to rework keys and moris and get rid of iridescent hatchets half a year before that.
