People often "sleep" on an unheard of Freddy mindgame
Now I pulled this trick off completely accidentally, and its very RNG dependant, but my god it works every time.
What you need is to chase a sleeping survivor near, but not too close to an uncompleted generator. Now, wait for them to drop a pallet or window. When you vanish from sight around a wall, theyll usually assume you're attempting a basic mindgame and will stay at the loop in order to predict you.
Now while youre behind cover, teleport to the uncompleted generator. Between the lullaby and the music, hopefully your quarry wont notice. Now, since theyre oblivious, just walk up to them and down them.

That's not slept on, it's just not that effective against survivors that are paying attention. The generator literally spews blood as the map-wide whoosh plays.

what madlordjack said also it might be a waste if you need to use it to get across the map. not really worth it if you ask me unless your in low ranks.

Yeah, generally this only works if the gen has some distance and is out of the survivors LoS, unless trying to trick the survivor into running right back into you.

You have now unlocked the secret door to Freddy Mains HQ congrats!

sounds like the most useless "slept on" thing in dbd.
Anybody with eyes or ears can counter this. Also, something that rarely works isn't "RNG"

While i agree with the others, I will give props for the sleep pun

It is RNG. Gen placement is part of the strat.

I play Myers exclusively as my Killer until I feel I'm truly competent with him, but one of my friends does Freddy. What he likes to do is initiate a chase with a Survivor let them get a bit of lead and teleport before the chase music stops (I assume it ends for the Survivor the second he teleports). He aims himself for a distant Generator ahead, along the trajectory the Survivor is going. What happens, at least most of the time I've observed, is the Survivor assumes Freddy has broken off (or that he/she lost him). They continue forward a safe distance and are usually headed toward the Generator to resume something productive. Freddy pops out ahead of them and downs them.

It might work but why not just spam 8 Snares around the Loop like most Freddy's do?
I think it only works well on Haddonfield or Badham Houses with top gens and 1 Window. You start teleporting to the top Gen, they run into you after teleport or they stay downstairs in a much weaker position.
