Maps are alot darker?

Recently (few weeks now), maps like badham and midwich are incredibly dark.

I can barely see the killer until his red stain is right in front of me, which gives me no time to react or do anything. It's even hard to see my survivors aswell.

Is there a brightness or gamma setting I can alter with? If so where abouts?

I just feel like some games really give me a disadvantage, because it's pitch black (No mist add ons) and I end up not noticing the killer until he's in my face lol.
