Tips for rush hits with blight ?

Ive been playing blight for a couple days on ps4 and my god how do u guys even do this, he is great for map pressure but every time i use his power in a chase and line up the survivors, i just end up missing, the survivors aint even doing 360s, all they have to do is turn left or right really fast and i whiff, the umbra salt addon helps alot but i dont wanna rely on it at all times. So for that as the title says, yall got any tips, my current build is bbq,ruin,undying, and pop as a back up when ruin goes out, i dont have tinkerer yet because billy is the only killer that i have not leveled up to 50 yet, thanks.
