Can we talk about the dc penalty and self suicide?
Why oh why was the dc penalty removed in the first place, and why is there a button to leave the match.
First off, I don't think you should be able to struggle or ######### on the hook. struggling is boring, and timing your death for teammates to get advantages is just kinda bullshit frankly.
secondly,
playing survivor you rob your team of the match entirely, pretty much deciding the outcome because you got upset over going down first and killed yourself/left the match.
Playing killer you are robbed of any offerings(bps/maps) and addons, any stacks of bbq you need for those precious bps and have to play this stupid game of farm, or play an unfun unbalanced match... because someone couldn't take being outplayed.
Some instances I understand you want out. (facecamping with a mori... slowdown freddy... etc) but, whats fair for the other people you are playing with? do you care? do we care as a community?
I'm tired of losing bp stacks and offerings to rage quitters....

This is another reason why we need a skill check system like pyramidhead instead of mashing space mindlessly.

The DC-Penalty was used to give Streamers huge DC-Penalties despite them not DCing. This happend 3 times already (with turning it on and off between those times), if I am not mistaken. So you can thank those guys who think it is funny to hack so that people get huge penalties.
Button for leaving the Match-->For Emergencies. DCing is totally fine because of RL-Stuff and there are also some Bugs in the game which force the players to DC.
Hook Suicides-->I think they are fine. They cannot really prevented, especially not with a system that randomly kills you on the Hook when it does not register your struggle. And you cannot force players to stay in the game, if two people are dead and 5 Gens to go, I will not struggle when there is no chance ot win.

i sorry but if you add dc penalties people will just suicide on hook, if you remove suiciding on hook people will go afk
you cant make people play a game that they dont want to play

You shouldn't instantly die if you miss one. If you want to leave then you're gonna have to go through stage 2 and miss every skill check until you die which will feel like forever for the survivor who just wants to leave and he can still get saved by another survivor while he tries to die. Also he cannot cuck another survivor who is coming for the save.
That survivor would usually just DC at that point instead of going through all this and eat the penalty that he usually dodge by using a game mechanic.

dev can't stop the hackers so they removed the dc penalty,which didn't do anything but hurt killers who wanted out(I bet survivor try to make the killer dc so they can lol about it) and for survivor which what dc penalty really for can by pass the dc penalty kill them selfs on first hook.yea they never going to do anything about self suicide so the dc penalty was pointless anyways.
