So you think its more stereotyping than anything?

Yeah but what if those games had come out instantly with a horrible reputation?

wasnt that the game where survivors had to gamble cards to win?
and where they not only were faster than the killer but could also avoid any attack thrown at them by pressing a button?
are you sure it might not have been the fact that there was literally no balance in that game that lead to its death?

Not exactly. I think a foreign language and less-than-perfect English grammar is likely to put native English speakers off regardless of what the language is, but I think it's more likely to be a dealbreaker for a Chinese developer because Chinese media and pop culture isn't typically as popular or admired in the west as, say, Japanese or Korean.

Or what if the game came put and players just didn't think it was good enough to keep playing.
You seem to be focusing to much on a what the community can Influence and not the actual game is itself. Take this community by your means of thinking DBD would have died long ago as most posts are negative.

Due to the way everything was discussed and how some comments rather turned into ripping into the game, the thread will be closed. If anyone wants to make such a thread again, make sure that it stays respectful - accusing a community of having killed a game (intentionally) isn't the best way to go about things.
