Is serverside hit validation also gonna help killers who get robbed of hits?
I get that survivors often suffer from unfair hits, and its good that the developers attempt to resolve that frustration.
But will killers also receive the same treatment? It is extremely frustrating when you get into a situation where you earned yourself a hard fought hit, but then game takes it away from.

The one with best ping with the server gets the actions. If you are 30ms and survivor is 120ms, the server will validate what you do first, in this case the hit...
Without it, like it is today... Worst ping gets the actions first because I don't know haha

The absolute ######### worst is when you get cucked on grabs and the survivor gets away, you don't even get a hit. Fix that garbage

Yeah, the developers lied to us when they said grab are serverside now. The other day I grabbed a survivor, froze in the animation for like 10-20 frames, and then it got cancelled. I checked the survivor's ping: 350ms.
Yeah, I call bullshit on that one.

The network issues with grabs are being worked on. They have not been stated to have been fixed yet. It's an important issue, and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can.

I dont think the grab animation will get fix killer have this issue for a while now ( like 10 month)

I appreciate that you guys are working on fixing grabs. I am glad to hear that.
But are you guys also aware of aim-dressing robbing killers of hits? Like the one I posted in the original comment?
As a tip for your programmers and coders, I am specifically referring to aim-dressing kicking in BEFORE the hit is registered, therefor taking away control from the killer player.

You didnt get robbed a hit. You lunged early and bit a tree. Spirit is slower, extremely slow when looping those structures.

I aimed towards a Claudette (she is in the centre of my screen), but hit the tree to my side. Where am I supposed to aim if I want to hit a survivor?

This has been happening a lot more to me lately too. The Aim Assist keeps pulling me to the nearest obstacle despite the Survivor being in the dead center of my screen. I don't think this really has to do with ping/hit validation but moreso to do with the crap Aim Assist that exists to "smooth out the game" that can't be turned off. A few months ago it was an issue with always auto turning towards the survivors on hooks instead of hitting the rescuer but I haven't had that issue in a little while and now if there's barely any obstacle on my screen when I go to hit a survivor it'll turn me towards the pallet/wall/whatever they're looping around.

Well from my perspective it looks just like it should. Claudette would have been too far away to get hit.
I only play killer so I have no idea how it has to look properly on survivor side, but I had several times were I hit at the shown distance and got the hit at the really last frame of my hit and was surprised since I'd didn't think I hit them properly. And yes she runs back into your hit but the tree covers roughly a forth to a third of claudettes hit box with its own since the hit box of trees is not exactly the same as the model.
I would call this example a preemptive lunge and a little bit of unluck.
