Realistic Gameplay

The audio is pretty accurate in terms of grunts of pain, screams from both male and female survivors. The males tend to generate lower pitched audio while the females are higher pitched. It would be great if the physical attributes of the survivors were realistic as well. The female survivors should run slightly slower than the males and pallets should be more difficult/take longer for females to drop, since they are weaker physically. Changes could be made to killers also, huntress being able to carry 5 hatches? I get that initially, this was done to make things balanced but let's be realistic here, no girl is carrying that many hatches. Maybe she could have a super strength addon allowing her to carry more.

Side note, I would LOVE to see a killer moonwalking in a movie hahah. In the lore, survivors have been in this realm for a long period of time, so I imagine the first few matches there were failed skill checks all over the place. Over time tho, that knowledge of repairing generators has become subconsciously ingrained in them.

Okay I just read up on her lore and only have faced her in a match once or twice. Didn't realize she killer nazis. But the survivor side argument still stands

Well, majority of the killer issues can be solved with the "Because Entity" argument. And Huntress is SWOL. Like, she dummy buff. Puts me to shame.

If this game was realistic as well, Clown would have a heart attack mid-match, David King could fight off the Legion with a maybe exception to Joe and everyone's most likely die in one hit. I mean, look at the original opening scene with Trapper.

Yet, why do you want that? I think they made a good design choice by enabling every build on every survivor to basically the same effectiveness. At this rate, people can play whoever they like the most and aren´t hindered in one way or another. And how would you balance male survivors, or would they just be able to do what the girls do, but better?

Exactly, their wouldn't be balance, that's the point. In general, males are physically superior to females.

This might be slightly off topic from OP's post, but I think it might be somewhat similar.

I used to play this other game that was basically the EXACT same to DBD with doing 5 tasks, opening gates, survivors, killers, basement, whatever. All characters in that game all had a special ability/item, and you could tell what a player was going to play like (e.g. what item they were going to have) just by knowing what character they were playing. I find it kind of annoying to be playing killer and have 0 idea what the survivor team has.

Maybe if every character had slight differences; maybe if Jane was slightly better at healing, Meg was slightly faster, whatever. Tiny differences that make playing a different character feel different and actually be a different game.

Should we just straight up nerf females (lol)? No. But maybe some tiny changes to characters could be nice.

Generally speaking you´re right in terms of strength, but if you wanna go this far with realism in DBD, Aven and PigmainClaudette already have pointed out some serious gameplay flaws that would come along with it. It wouldn´t make for a fun game man. Playing a Killer that dies from drug abuse midmatch, everyone going down in 1 hit, no one being able to repair gens, most of them not being able to run longer than a minute or two...and don´t even get me started with all the supernatural Killers.

Thank you for contributing in a positive manner. Yes that's kind of what I'm getting at. I agree that survivors should be more than just skins, and that killers should kind of know what they are getting into. As a survivor, you know: oh it's this killer, I need to watch out for ___ (fill in the blank) Killers don't have that intel.

The entity doesn't really favor survivors though, do they? It makes sense that they power up the killers so they don't have a heart attack or overdose midgame.
