Hey BHVR, about the ranking system

Hey BHVR, I have a quick question and excuse my French but, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?! W-why am I against rank 1s? Not only am I at rank THIRTEEN!!! I am also garbage as plague so there is no way the matchmaking for killer could’ve seen me capable of going against these people. The match just before this one I only got one kill, h-how did your game do this??? You think that the ranking system is flawed and it is pretty flawed, but what you should be fixing is that red or yellow ranks should go against people AT THEIR RANK

    1) it's MM that's nonexistent

    2) ranks dont really matter as they only show how much players have played in a month

    3) it's been happening for years now

Yeah, that keeps happening to me as well on PC. I'm rank 9, will frequently go against Rank 1-4 Survivors. And if not, definately purple. Almost never see a green or yellow survivor.

My theory is there's a high ranked Killer Drought. I have no idea how anyone plays an M1 killer who can't break loops at high rank without quitting the game in the current Survivor Perk Meta. But that's just my theory.

After a long enough wait, high rank survivors get to beat up on a baby killer.

I think you're right about the drought. Once you hit red rank, it is really hard to de-rank. The way red rank killers play... you're maxing chase and bold. Saves and heals are usually maxed. Skill checks are maxed without much effort. There is a surplus of red rank survivors.

After death, I always watch how my matches play out. The amount of rank 4s that do nothing but hide, makes me mental. They escape with 10,000 points... 5000 for the escape, 4500 for hiding in a bush, and 500 for bold because the killer walked by. These are the surplus people.
