Hello everyone it's Dabihwow, it's Halloween time and during this time of tricks and treats we go around houses dressing up in strange and bizarre costumes, watching or playing horror games or movies, and telling ghost stories, which is what we're here to do. First off I want to say I have always loved Ghost stories, whether it be the ghosts in Gettysburg or the Winchester house, I loved them all. Anyway I wondered does the community have a paranormal encounter before or something close to it that they would like to share? But it wouldn't be fair if it was only them telling the ghost story, so I'll share you some of mine that scared me shitless.

The first story takes place in my Art class. My school has three levels, the top level, bottom level, and the basement which is where it is said to be the most haunted. However what I've learned is that the school was once and orphanage or a safety home for kids that awaited for their parents to sort out legal issues. Unfortunately a large fire that engulfed during the late 1800's I think, in which took the lives of two boys. The building was reconstructed into a school and remained there for a long time.

Now back to the story, so I was sitting there in my chair writing down an assignment on my chromebook when all of the sudden I heard crying behind me, at first I thought it was one of my peers, but the more I listened the more it started to sound like a little child. I looked behind me then the crying stops and I was looked at weirdly by my peers. Another time while in school I was on a ghost tour of my local area we were being told a story of the haunting at the school and of the house across the street from us. I turned my head around the area a bit seeing the houses on the street, they were very beautiful,n I caught a white mist, at first I thought it was steam, but there was no car or anything that could produce a steam, and it was at night so it couldn't be the Mildew evaporating. What happened next scared me to this day, the weird mist then as I could make out had a face of a beautiful yet classy woman, she smiled before evaporating into nothingness. From then I've never questioned if Ghosts exist or not.

I'm glad to tell these stories, if you have a ghost story share it with me, I'd like to hear what your story, thank you all and I will see you in The Fog

My mother was (and still is) convinced that there were spirits living in her childhood house. Angry ones. The previous owner seemed to be a drunkard who hid his vice within various nooks and crannies in the house. The bottom of a closet would be hollowed out to hide bottles in, a secret cupboard space would hold a bottle or two of whiskey. In the basement, one of the walls had been chiseled away at to serve as a massive repository for empties. The force of a guardian angel could occasionally be felt, but there were rooms where a malignant entity could override its force. A room in the basement, left unfilled by any boxes or shelves, emanated anger. The concensus among my mother and her sisters was that, if you stepped into the room, the door would shut behind you, and you'd be locked in there forever. Once, the TV broke, for unrelated reasons. They called a repair man, and while everyone else was off doing their own work, he shouted from the living room. People rushed in, and he was rubbing his head, spoon (previously unattended on the mantle, presumably by some empty bowl of soup) by his side. He was working on the TV when he felt it strike his head. He finished up his business and left in a hurry, no doubt in a bad mood. The mantle was on the other side of the room. There was no way that someone would have been able to creep across, throw the spoon, and creep back without him seeing them.

I have one but it's not too impressive.

I was on vacation at the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. It's supposedly very haunted. As we took a tour of the place, we passed a bulletin board. It had a little medallion with a bison on it, if I remember correctly. As we walked past the board I looked back and saw the medal rotating.

We kept walking, and I saw a quarter on the ground rotating in place as well.

It was pretty strange to say the least.

Nothing too special, but my heater has turned itself on multiple times. And it's not an automatic. You either have to manually press the buttons on it or use the remote, which I have always had resting on the heater itself because it doesn't really work.

I know I'm not forgetting about it because I hear the noise it makes when the button is pressed. So unless it just randomly decides to reset itself (which seems like a major flaw in the heater), there is no other explanation that makes sense.

Just one when I was a kid. I was at my friends house spending the night and we did our little “spooky stories” then went to sleep. I thought I was just half asleep but I remember hearing footsteps in the kitchen so I went to go look and I saw nothing so I just went back to sleep, just a little bit later I swear I saw a shadow walking through the kitchen again so I just pulled the covers over me. The last thing I heard or remember before I fell asleep again was hearing the microwave beeping and some pots moving.

I tried to keep it a secret but I just couldn’t so I told him what I saw, his dad heard me I guess and he told me all about it. Yes they have a ghost but it’s “friendly”. It still freaked me out but I kept hanging out with my friend and still went to his house from time to time lol.

My grew up in an old farm house built in 1865. Me and two friends were into ghost hunting and went several times as we still own the place.

First time there we caught an evp that was so clear I thought it was me talking for a second until I talked soon after and could tell it was for sure none of the 3 of us.

In the upstairs my friend was antagonizing and felt a burn on his back. We lifted his shirt and seen scratch marks literally appear in front of us up his back. Shortly after my other friends neck started burning and I watched scratches go across the back of his neck. Then I turned around and was starting at an apparition right behind us. I was face to face with it until I turned (because you know startled who wouldn't?) I quickly turned back and it was gone.

I seen what looked like small slightly reddish humanoid figures running in front of a window in the room opposite us at one point.

I was with some other guys out there letting them do a ghost hunt just hanging back so they could experience it and help if they needed it. Everyone of them were in front of me when a butter knife was thrown at my feet from behind.

Took a friend out and when I showed him the knife he laughed and the front door flew open and then slammed shut.

Got an evp of a young girl humming and at one point it felt like she was holding my hand. (This is assuming you believe in child spirits and them not being something acting as such). The cool thing was we could hear it with our own ears as well. Whatever this was actually followed me home. I was in the bathroom one morning and my dog started going crazy hoping and jumping and barking. He usually only acted like that when I either came home or someone else came over. As he was doing this I heard the same voice as the humming laughing and then it said "Sampson stop!" AND MY ######### DOG STOPPED JUMPING AND JUST SAT DOWN. I was home alone, no tv on, no computer on, no radio on, and lived in a house in the middle of nowhere so there was no neighbors.
