Deathslinger Builds.

I'm posting this to see what all builds folks have come up with for Deathslinger since I don't see anything but people saying he is unfun to play against.

I'll post mine first and anyone can follow suit with their build or ask questions about why I run which perk.

BBQ and Chili, Save The Best For Last, Hex: Devour Hope, and Monitor & Abuse.

I use any add ons really.

So... as Deathslinger your 1v1 is really potent, so usually I gear my perks towards helping me in the 1v4. To that end I've got two builds that I enjoy quite a bit.

Gearhead, Tinkerer, Sloppy Butcher, Thanatophobia. The idea behind this build is basically to play Deathslinger like Legion but with range and REALLY scary to play injured against. With this build, if/when Gearhead or Tinkerer gives you info on Survivors on generators nearish to you... you take it. Break chase, leave that guy who's injured with Deep Wound and Mangled to try to recover (its gonna take a while) while you go bother those guys trying to do gens. This way you'll on average be keeping way more than 1 survivor busy at a time.

Surveillance, Surge, Pop, Agitation. I will say though that after Surveillance's bugfix/nerf I might run Thrilling Tremors instead. This build I've nicknamed my Kool Aid Man build. Basically the idea is to down someone, pick em up, use Surveillance/Thrilling to figure out which Gens are being worked on, use Agitation to hike near said gen, get those survivors to run away because 40m terror radius or bait them into trying to play hero, hook, pop the gen that got abandoned way too early. If things go really well, then a chase breaks out around the hooked survivor I brought over to the other survivors. Again, I'm using my build to enable me to bother multiple survivors at the same time. The guy up on my shoulder and the guy(s) who are getting slapped with a 40m terror radius.

I run BBQ + Corrupt Intervention + Sloppy Butcher + Surge on my Deathslinger and I think its an alright build for him.

This is my build as well. BBQ and PGTW are must start perks for most killers. Then pick two of STBFL, M&A, and Nurse's Calling.

I personally do not think that Ruin is a good perk on Deathslinger since the survivors are less likely to scare off a gen from a distance like other killers with a naturally larger terror radius.

Monitor + Sloppy + Nurses + Surge is my favorite build on him. I also really enjoy the iri coin, it's hard to use but so fun when you get the sharpshooter proc.

I've been running BBQ, Sloppy, Nurse's, and M&A with no add-ons and I often get 3K and 4Ks. I would run reload add-ons, but mostly I just been saving up BP for others killers and survivors.

I find the best way to build pressure with Deathslinger is injuring people as people will heal against Deathslinger as he's a pseudo stealth killer with his TR and range ability. If you injure someone by spearing them and M1ing, they'll also have to mend first which adds extra time. Unlike Legion, I don't try to get everyone injured at the start but one person injured with mangled and another downed is a good start.

I use this for almost all my KIllers including Slinger:

Whispers / Nurses Calling / STBFL / Discordance

    I dunno, works for me

(I can almost not live without Whispers too lol)

Corrupt, sloppy, monitor, BBQ. The most basic of basic ######### Deathslinger builds. Works way too good and you'll basically never lose if you know how to aim with iron sights in a video game. Go nuts.
