Flashlights should NOT blind from a killers periphery!!!!
If that survivor is NOT within the killers FoV, a blind should NOT occur!!!!!

Yeah, I did some tests a while ago. You can blind the killer from almost 90°, even though the killer FOV doesnt even reach 45° to the sides.

It’s ridiculous!!!

No shadowborn involved.

It’s stupid that a killer can’t even look at a wall before a pick up. This needs fixing

lmao 🤣🤣 the most accurate descriptive picture ever.

Off topic slightly but Why was this thrown into feedback and suggestions and not into the bug report section...really don't like how the mods on here unceremoniously dump so many posts in here, way way too many for the team to even read half of them and the good ones get buried because of 50 other posts that get spewed in here

If it's not a bug, you don't have to fix it.

It's even more painful when you're a shadowborn gamer.

Lets all hard tunnel people who bring flashlights. Then the survivors will cry about it and maybe something will improve. Killers will probably get a nerf but nothing else seems to work.

Hold a flashlight up to the sides of your vision and you’ll still be affected lol.

I thought this was removed but it’s been in the game for months. I’ve been ready to call for nerfs. With looking at a wall no longer a reliable counter, flashlights are now pretty much uncounterable unless the Survivor player makes a mistake.

For the purposes of balance a killer should have an opportunity to try and avoid a blind if they can move their camera, or move around.
Right now, looking at a wall before doing a pick up doesn’t a avoid a blind. That’s not balanced. It makes flashlight saves guaranteed and foolproof, making them complete skill-less.

It’s still possible to avoid it by looking at walls for sure, just at a proper angle.

What angle?!??
If a blind can occur from 100% perfectly perpendicular, then looking straight at a wall achieves nothing, and if you turn slightly away, the survivor can simply run to the other side

This happened to me too and boy did that make me rage lol. I didnt even see the flashlight beam on my screen!!! i was facing a wall and everything lol. It was on Father Campbell's Chapel. I'll remember it forever...
