Is there any lore reason some killers don’t have maps?
Like the title implies, is there any lore reason certain killers don’t have maps? I feel like Blight had a strong connection to the university, Bubba to his family’s home, etc.

I think this is less Lore oriented.
- We got graphics changes instead of maps for this chapter
- Licensing problems for Bubba and GF

I mean yeah, I know the real reason why. But usually the devs make an in-universe explanation for real world changes. I was asking if there’s any in-universe reason, like if the entity couldn’t read a memory, had no connection to any place, stuff like that

There is the possibility that they exist but we never see those maps in game. There are killers and such that The Entity has already but the survivors we use have yet to see them. Same goes with Survivors. So it is possible that there are maps as well.

In universe?
I'd say it'd possible that the Entity cannot create new things shortly before the blight event. Bubba was added in mid-late september, as was Blight.
Spirit might be the exception, because the Entity didn't create anything 'new' for the clown before, so had some reserves, and Rin's emotions were really strong, so that possibly 'helped'

The Entity make the maps from the memories of survivors/killers and sometimes memories might be not strong enough that it cannot conjure up new realms or places, Cannibal has a lot of things in his mind and he doesn't seem to be someone who memorizes places. Ghost Face only been in Roseville for a few months and go to different houses to make his kills, so probably not enough to make a replica of the town, and the Blight's mind is so messed up that the Entity would end up making a nightmarish mixture of unrealistic horror if it tired to make a realm from the Blight's mind.
also the Clown had been travelling that there wouldn't be a place for him to remember, which is why his carnival is at a realm from the Nurse's memories

The Entity allows Clown and by extension Maurice to traverse the realms and set up anywhere they want so there's no real reason for him to have his own special realms.
Talbot Grimes came to the Entity's realm as a survivor not as a killer it's only because of his indulgence, addiction and research in the Pustula Flower and its serum allowing the entity to twist him into a killer hence why he probably doesn't have a realm based around his memories made.
As for Ghostface no clue. Maybe because of his booty
