Survivors who run across the map

As a killer what should you do about survivors who run to the other side of the map when they get hit? They always go where no gens are so if I chase them they will get gens done but if I don't they usually heal and get back on gens. Anyone have any tips?

It´s highly situational as what to do in such instances. It depends on many factors,for example you may llet them run to the empty map areas if theres another survivor nearby that you can pressure. If the area the survivor is running to has been cleared of pallets, chasing may be a good idea. If you have no other survivor nearby, just chase the guy you just injured.
